I just completed the DA survey done by the bioware people (thanks for being so open to fan feedback btw) and it made me realise something... am I the only person who misses the ability to que orders from Knights of the Old Republic? I like to be ultra tactical, which means instructing what all my team does, but I also like to be able to watch it play out and not need to stop and start all the time in the middle of combat.
What do others think?

I definitely miss that. It's something I'd like to see return.
For DAO, BioWare justified the exclusion by saying that combat moved quickly enough that you wouldn't generally want to queue up several actions in a row, as you wouldn't know in advance which abilities you would want to use.
And that's probably true, but queuing up 2 abilities, particularly for mages, would have been really helpful. Being able to queue Vulnerability Hex and then Winter's Blast would save me the trouble of having to return to my mage to issue the second command 2 seconds from now.

I agree. I really liked being able to queue actions. I actually forgot you were not able to do it. When I first started playing I thought I was just not doing it correctly, so I made a lot of mistakes before I realized it could not be done.RedIntifada wrote...

Gosh that takes me back, I miss that now that I think about it. I'd love to have that back, even if it was limited to only a couple of orders queued.

I've always wanted them to return queing actions. It would make combat so much better for me. I did enjoy pausing, issuing a series of actions, then unpausing to watch it all roll out in KotOR. For a game like Dragon Age it would be beyond useful.
As previously mentioned, I got annoyed at having to unpause, let the issued command take place, then go back to pausing and issuing, or at least just having to issue that command whilst everything is playing out.

I would really really like to be able to queue actions, I would especially to have several party members queued up at the same time, which would help with class combos/combined abilities... whatever.

Definitely hoping for queue action. I love the spell combos in DAO but don't use them much unless I'm playing a mage because it's just too much work.
