I find it odd how, especially after all the talk on this forum about TWD, there's not a thread for this yet. So I made one.

I'm not done with Episode 1 yet, or I would probably post my thoughts. I will once I'm done, though. For those who have finished it, though, what did you think? I'll be curious once I'm done. (Since I wrote this, I did, in fact, finish and write on Episode 1. Look no further.)

Also, sorry to PS3 users, it's not going to be released on PSN until tomorrow. Me, being part of the glorious PC Master Race, don't have to worry about that, but I feel bad for you, son (or daughter).

I actually didn't.  I did wonder about TJ though.

 

 

But in any case I just finally finished this and I really enjoyed it.  Looking forward for more from Telltale!

Pretty sure that Narissa was actually Faith the whole time.

 

Though aside from the thought provoker, I did enjoy the adhoc trial with Crooked Man.  I ended up actually not making a decision at the well, which ultimately led to me dropping him.  But part of me regretted that.... which I think makes for an interesting narrative.

 

I definitely enjoy trying to play the good guy in these games.  Played good cop with the Woodsman and was typically compassionate towards people like Holly.  I enjoyed that the game let me NOT continue beating on people a lot of the time, like the one eyed dude at the bar, beast.  And even a few others.  In my game, Bigby was tired of being The Big Bad.  Though it was cool the few times he did become one.

 

 

All in all I really liked it.  And bravo to them for faking me into thinking the fridged Snow.  I was like: Really? :|  And then they trudged on.  I wonder if any went "Oh FFS" and took some time returning."

Hmm, so you're in the Faith was glamoured as Nerissa the entire game camp? It seems people are split down the middle on whether Faith was glamouring as Nerissa the whole game and Faith lived, or that Faith died before the events of The Wolf Among Us and Nerissa glamoured as her in Episode 1.

 

I find it amazing that these two theories are so evenly split in support. I don't think I'll ever truly decide. I'll keep jumping from idea to idea. Probably best to keep it vague.

Oh I wasn't clear.  I meant that Nerissa was Faith... the whole time we saw Faith lol.  So I guess that that would mean Faith was dead to start.  But really it can go either way.

I imagine it was done to keep people talking.  I don't think there's any *need* to follow up on it either.

 

 

I did laugh that when I met one character, my response was "Ah! It's Melkor!"  hahahahaha
