Why don't you just play it - instead of relying on reviews so much before you judge.

The length of time between episodes has nothing to do with reviews.

Dude, you're the one who talked about how there is no excuse for such a long delay after saying the reviews are mixed. I simply stated that I figured out why it got delayed and if you play it then you'll probably figure it out too.

I'd hazard a guess that Telltale picking up more projects like Game of Thrones & Borderlands will slow down development on current IPs a bit.

That is most likely another reason as well.

I liked it a lot. Wish it had been a little longer though.

And if they think it is perfectly reasonable for customers to pay full price for an incomplete game, which will then be put on the backburner so that they can sell new incomplete games at full price (i'm on steam, btw)...

A 4 month wait for an inferior episode both in quality and length? come on now...

TWD season 1 brought my attention to TellTale Games. The way things are going, TWD season 2 will mark my end of interest in their products

Well, I managed to recover them. Apparently I was more clever than I thought and had backups.

In response to the episode itself, once again really good, though this time I do agree it felt a little short. And given how some of the scenes shown in the episode 2 preview didn't actually show up in the episode, I'm thinking perhaps they cut it down a bit? Though, it could just be they didn't happen in my playthrougth, I guess.

Never said it was a good business practice - In fact, I believe episodic games can go die in a ditch because they break immersion in some games and the pacing in others, like the constant recaps and **** like "Previously on the 24, blah, blah". But I believe you should have probably expected disappointment or at the very least that this could happen, because it always does. You knew what you were getting into sunny-boy by supporting them and in the end that's all on you.

For some reason the people that are dissapointed with this episode were expecting an episode that contained the time and quality of 2 episodes combined. Apperantly a four month delay means automatically beter quality.

So yeah I bought the season pass for this back in October and it's not working for me and a bunch of XBL users. GG TellTale.

^That. I seriously couldn't believe it when I tried to download the episode about an hour ago, but I pretty much just shook my head and thought, well, I've waited four months, I'm sure I can can wait a few more hours.

I'm not exactly happy about it, but I'm not OMGBURNINHELLTELLTALE

Meh I'm more annoyed than anything else, actually set some time aside for this today. There goes that plan.

Played episode 2.It was alright , I guess.
I was a bit disappointed how Snow White " death " was handled at first , but it got creepy enough by the end.
What annoys me is this sort of game isn't very funny when it come to an investigation story ,I felt like I couldn't go wrong and if I did Bigby or another npc would figure it out for me .
The stuff I wanted to ask about such as the ribbons on all the prostitutes and the fact they are under some kind of spell ,their lips are sealed thing...well there's no real option there.

So again with Telltale game , being railroaded gets on my nerves. The only choice I felt I had was Bigbie goes berseck or Bigbie stay calm.
It's too bad because the setting is pretty cool.

I am one of the many XBL users who are waiting to be able to download Ep 2 without paying for it again, given the Season Pass download.

I'm patient though. A little extra waiting won't kill me, given the wait that I've already experienced.

Gotta love the conspiracy theories on that forum about MS/Telltale trying to get people to pay for it twice, what with the season pass problems.

I got episode one around Christmas, so I don't mind waiting a bit more, but that's easy for me to say. I feel sorry for those who've been waiting since launch.

Elsa: XBL players,
Please go back home
Your life awaits
Go enjoy your time
And open up the game,

Anna: Yeah, but —

Elsa: I know!
You play well, but leave it be
Episode 2's alone but its alone and free!
Just play away and you'll be safe from greed

Anna: Actually we're not

Elsa: What do you mean you're not?

Anna: I get the feeling you don't know

Elsa: What do I not know?

Anna: Episode 2's a deep, deep, deep, deep...
No

Elsa: What?

Anna: You've kind of made it not free for Season Pass holders, everywhere.

Elsa: Everywhere?

Anna: It's okay, you can just fix it!

Elsa: No, I can't.
I — I don't know how!

Anna: Sure you can! I know you can!

*insert rest of song here*

So i've played it the plot is good as ever but there was a few problems.
First telltale need to get their ****ing act together when it comes to lag. There was so times when it jittered or even froze, it's even worse than the last episode and the first episode of TWD season 2. The other big problem is that this time the choices were very paragon or renegade usually just being punch this guy or don't punch this guy.
It's still worth getting though even with the complaints.

Loved it. TellTale keep this up and I might have to send you cookies out of a sense moral obligation. I'm dissapointed that we've already caught Mr.Smith, I would have loved it to be like an Agathata Christie novel where we're left clueless until the end. But I hope it's not him. Sure, he's the pervert, but maybe not the murderer.
