Well, I want to play episode two now, but I'm not sure if I'm better off getting the pass or not. : /
Ask Druss for his spare code if you don't want to get the Season Pass.
It'll save you the same amount of money the Pass would've, without the hassle.

So, no message from them? Have they not fixed it yet?

I am confident that they will get the code to me at some point. This is a situation that they have to be aware of. People will still buy their stuff.

Starting EP1, how much time should I put aside and dedicate to playing both episodes?
I can accurately say I've spent 5 hours in total playing episodes 1 and 2 of TWAU. Considering I spent 2 hours 40 minutes playing Episode 2 (including a 15-20 minute break for dinner) that leaves episode 1's running time at 2 hours 20 minutes.

So from what I experienced, Bigsby (spelling?) is trying to reform. I played accordingly... somewhat.
EP1:
Gave the money to Faith, didn't want her to get in trouble.
Lied to the Beast after telling Beauty that I didn't want to get involved, telling him upfront would've seem suspicious and I didn't want to stir the pot.
Went for Lawrence first, jumped out of the closet after he put the gun to his head.
Suspected the pimp, I have no real reason to suspect anyone else and he's the only one I have no information on.
Arrested Dee because Woodsman--while a violent drunk--seems like he'd offer nothing new to the investigation, I've got enough reason to interrogate Dee.
Ripped off Grendel's arm too because I'm imagining wolf-bigsby is him at his most intense and I want to drop the "reformation" angle.
After what happened at the end of EP1 though, I might have to go on and play him as if he's going on a roaring rampage.

Funny. I arrested Woody because I knew he had some information worth knowing and because I figured he would be safest under my custody.

Season Pass owners of The Wolf Among Us on Xbox 360 are experiencing an unexpected issue when attempting to redeem The Wolf Among Us Episode 2: Smoke & Mirrors, where they are asked to pay for the episode individually. We are working with Microsoft and will be releasing a title update to resolve the issue for this and subsequent episodes covered by the Season Pass.
We anticipate the update will be available within several days. All The Wolf Among Us Season Pass owners will be sent Xbox 360 console system message codes that will allow them to download episode 2 for no additional charge. If you intended to buy a Season Pass for The Wolf Among Us but haven’t yet, you can continue to do so. New Season Pass purchasers will also receive codes by console system message while the title update is in progress. Please note there may be a delay of up to 48 hours in receiving the console system message for new Season Pass purchases made prior to the title update release.
Once you receive your console system message with the redemption code for The Wolf Among Us Episode 2: Smoke & Mirrors, please follow these instructions to acquire the content:
Go to either Xbox.com/MyAccount to redeem your code or Settings/Account/Redeem Code on your Xbox 360 console and input the code.
Once your code is redeemed please to go to Download History under Account on your Xbox 360 console to download The Wolf Among Us Episode 2: Smoke & Mirrors . After your download is complete you will be able to launch Episode 2 from within The Wolf Among Us.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Users will still see the paid $4.99 Episode 2 error in the in-game store after redeeming the code until the Episode 2 content is downloaded from the user’s Download History using the aforementioned instructions.
We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused our Season Pass customers but we are glad that we are able to provide your content to you in this way while we work closely with Microsoft to issue the necessary title update.

Finished EP2. That was waaaaayyy too short.
Spoilers below, obviously.
Sympathized with Crane at the start, I "vented" with the police officers and felt treating Crane like **** didn't really work out despite not liking the guy much.
Damn shame my "venting" didn't stop me from abusing Tweedledee to the point that everyone was disgusted with me except for Bluebeard who smiled as I went along, it felt... carthartic.
Let Snow come with me to the bar because there was no reason to leave her behind, it was amusing to go back after I had ripped off Grendel's arm and letting everything unfold around me from there. However, I treated Holly nicely and everyone was surprised despite my torture of Tweedledee earlier.
... which made my destruction of the strip club and beating up of Georgie feel nice, too! I kept asking him, he kept evading the question and I wrecked everything. It's how the world works, eh?
I tried to get Beast to stand down and put away my fists, he smacked me in the face with a wine bottle but I'm glad the situation didn't escalate more.
As for whoever was the "murderer" in this case, I wasn't surprised one bit but it's obvious that he isn't the "prime" murderer. He probably took advantage of the chaos to get away with something he wanted to do.

It's Lee, so being bros with him is the closest anyone has got to being Kenny.

Obviously he's never heard of hentai.
