By the way, do we have official confirmation that they rewrote Episode 2, and possibly the episodes that follow as well? Because it certainly looks like something changed.

Context clues.

You don't have to be Bigby to figure that one out :P

What happens if you totally fail to connect the evidence, btw? And yeah, I change my mind, I was wrong. The next detective work we do needs to be tougher, that stuff could have been figured out by a handicapped gorilla.

I laughed when Beauty told me I was "a better detective than I thought you'd be". It's nice to know she thought Bigby was incapable of figuring out something easier than the average case in an Encyclopedia Brown book.

I love the look Bigby gives her when he's like, "Thanks..."

He's like, "She didn't have faith in me did she? Of course"

People have been speculating that the rewrite (if there actually was one) was due to the fact that too many people had figured out who the killer was - the redhead that kept popping up in episode 1.

They'd somehow deduced that he was the Boy Who Cried Wolf, and that he was trying to get revenge on Bigby. Sure, he's got the wrong wolf, but it... kinda makes sense?

I don't think I saw the redhead in episode 2, although I wasn't really looking.

Well, in the Fable universe, Bigby is pretty much every villainous wolf you've ever heard of in a story.  So it would probably be the right wolf.

I'm still convinced its the horseman

Bigby is the wolf from the Three Little Pigs and Little Red Riding Hood, for anyone curious.

There is also the one about the North Wind and the wolf, though I'm not sure what the origin of that one is. Norse mythology?

Just because we're a wolf doesn't mean we're also a Stark :P

This may sound strange, but I suspect Bigby's father. If you read the Fable books about Bigby then you will find out that he and his dad weren't exactly on good terms with each other.

Just take a look at how Faith died. Her head wasn't cut off. It was more ripped off. Then look at the crime scene where Lily died. They found the cigaret brand that only Bigby smokes. The whole "Huff and Puff" name makes me feel like its a brand favored by Wolfs in general.

And lastly: The wolf that keeps appearing at the end of the preview's so far. I know some of you think its Bigby in full wolf form, but honestly, I don't think he looks like Bigby at all.

This is just pure speculation on my part and maybe it makes no sense at all lol. But it was just a thought I had for a while now.

^ That doen't sound strange at all, now that I think of it. I would make for a great story and the people of Fabletown might suspect Bigby, so there could be an episode where you have to prove you're not guilty. And if you did some messed up stuff (like biting Grendels arm), then people will be less likely to believe you.

^ One flaw, Bigby's father isn't a wolf. He's the North Wind. The wolffish part of him comes from his mother.

Here I was reading your initial post going, "NOOOOOOO," but then Aesir had to point out what I was gonna say, hahahaha

Bigby's father is The North Wind. Bigby's mother was Winter, a wolf.

Bigby was the runt of the litter, and they(his brothers) made fun of him for it, hence "Bigby". His father went off to do what winds do and eventually, his brothers went off after their father to learn how to shape shift, a capability they were all given should they have chosen to pursue it, because of their father. Bigby never learned how and thus can't, because he instead chose to stick by his mother and defend her corpse after she died, which he was too small to do anyway.

Thats when he made the decision to keep hunting bigger and better prey, to get bigger and better himself. Yadda yadda goodie goodie we all gotta leave the homelands hey I found a way lemme get you through here but first lemme taste your flesh so I know you're not one of the bad guys okay you're good thanks for the toll wooooooop

Has anyone else read the comics that these games are based off of? How good are they?

It was Paige. Her cover is that she's still over in NXT.

Nah I have no idea.

Asked the same question on the forums and the general answer I got was positive.

I got a lot of comments stating that Fables comics weaves a great mix of drama, action and humour and are very beautifully drawn, intellectually scripted and filled with multidimensional characters. Similiar response I managed to find across the web, so apparently they are quite good. Haven't yet delved into them myself, considering The Wolf Among Us is a prequel to Fables and not to mention canon.

Haven't played Episode 2 yet, will try and fit it into my schedule this week.

This is pretty much what I've read on the internet about the series as well. I'm, like, super tempted to pick up the Fables: Deluxe Book One off Amazon. But then I realize it might spoil me a bit on TWAU, so I keep telling myself no. But I want it, bad.

I just finished Episode 2 a minute ago...

Spoiler

But man! I want the next episode to come out soon!

I actually did that. I bought the first few, but haven't even opened them yet because I don't want to spoil myself.
