Just finished episode 1 and 2 recently, and finished episode 1 again a different way. Gonna get on episode 2 again in a day or two. I've also ordered the first two deluxe volumes of the comic from amazon. Fables was always one of those series that I wanted to start but never got around to, especially since I burned out trying to get ahold of Hellblazer trades in order so I could read them. I've got to try and get into comic series when they're just taking off. Figure I'll hold off on reading them until episode 5 is over, I've got other stuff to read anyway.

 

A few thoughts.

It would be kind of obvious if Georgie was the killer, plus I don't think he's got the guts to put the heads on the steps of the Woodlands, and he'd be hurting his cut ultimately. But it still really amused me to smack him around and smash up his club.

The bat was called 'crowd control' and let's face it, the decor in there was crowded.

Noticed something in the preview for Ep 3 (people might have mentioned this), but when you see Crane driving in a car, one of those glamour things (like Lily's) falls out of his pocket onto the seat. Now either he stole Lily's because he's trying to hide what he's been up to with her, or that's his and the Crane we see sometimes is not the real Crane but the killer using a glamour.

Also, in each episode I've been having Bigby rub the lamp. Not a euphemism even if it sounds like one. I don't know if it'll do anything but I'm thinking if the option is available in each episode maybe there'll be an easter egg of some sort.

March 21st and still no sign of Episode 3. Telltale should stop calling it "Monthly Based" and just change to "Episodic Based" since they seem have a poor time keeping on their release schedule.

Taking release dates seriously at this age of gaming is your own fault.  Release dates, "monthly based", whatever else is seriously a joke now.  They should just say "When it's ready".

Worked well with The Walking Dead, so obviously people would assume the same level of treatment with TWAU. Apparently not.

 

Release dates being postponed through announcements is one thing, keeping dead silence on the matter is another.

Did they say specifically that it was going to be released this month or did they say they're going to try for the monthly goal?

As far as I recall at least, there were nothing said about when the next one would be released. Though back in late January they said that they would keep the monthly formula after Episode 2 was finally released. Don't seem that they managedmto keep their promises, again.

Telltale doesn't usually announce episodes too long before they come out.

Considering how long we waited from ep 1 to ep 2, I won't be surprised if the next release isn't until early Summer - plus with all of the projects Telltales taken on.

If it comes out in April there'll actually be some semblance of consistency with release dates, I guess. TWAU one month, TWD the next and so on.

Just noticed the release date is up on twitter now. Not sure how to post a link to a tweet though. Anyway, the 8th for PC and the US PS3, 9th for everything/where else it seems.
