Episode was short, maybe, (though I didn't notice, actually felt pretty long visiting all the investigations) but I find myself not caring because it was bloody incredible.

 

That ending. Holy ****.

Killed Dum. Was brutal, but I had enough of their shenanigans. Between tearing off Gren's arm and tearing Dum's throat out, my Bigby is an ******* and I love it.

Snow appears to be not approving, but bah. Being a dick is way more fun. Screw 'er.

Couldn't really tell with most of them, though Clem was coming through with TJ a lot. :S

I don't care what anyone says, but killing Dum was justifiable. Both of them interfered with Bigby case, they ruined funeral and almost killed some people + the fact they literaly wasted every bullet on Bigby just because he was defending Snow and Crane. IMO it even makes more sense to kill him since Bigby literaly losses his **** when he transforms into Werewolf.

 

I try to roleplay Bigby as not good or evil, he doesn't answer with violence, but if you are gono screw with him like some people did then you are dead.

Aside from that, best episode so far and i can't wait for the next one. I like The Wolf series a lot more than Walking Dead.

I think I got more and more pissed off during the last episode.

I was trying to play a nice Bigby...but the different characters ain't helping.

Snow got on my nerve , "Bigby , you enjoy this mess , don't you?" ...What the hell?

Stupid 1 and Stupid 2 were on my shitlist after the funeral ...

I wasn't motivated at alll about the Crane thing , I mean ok the guy got a twisted fetish , but I don't think it's the killer and I don't care what people do in their bedroom.But of course somehow Bigby is pissed off and he's pretty sure Crane is the killer...

Snow tries to tell him she thinks he's not guilty and I'm facepalming because I agree but in game I can't really do it.

Went to the bar first , and let Bluebeard have fun in Crane 's appartement because I didn't care ...

Somehow ended up at the witch place , didn't burn the tree and wanted to slap Snow ...I mean glamour are too expansive , you bet there 's some Black market going on , Snow was angry.I was happy.

Then went to the strip bar , punch the pimp in the face ...Didn't do anything to Crane , too pathetic.

Anyway I was like "Can we please figure out what's the deal with our lips are sealed thingie , and go to sleep?"

But of course wasn't possible ...

 

By the end I was so frustrated .Stupid 1 or 2 got killed , and I really really wanted to rip the face off that annoying Bloody Mary.

I think I'm going to go crazy next episode , because in the preview Snow was like "Now that you've Killed whatver his name is , everyone think you're back to your old ways , Bigby."....

Really?I killed a guy who shot twice at me and my friends , and everybody got their panties in a twist?...

Glad to hear the reception Episode 3 has gotten. Was a tad bit skeptical in what direction TWAU would go after the previous episode. Can't wait til I get home and get a chance to experience it for myself.

There's always an issue with Telltale, isn't there?

 

I completed Episode 3, unlocked all the achievements except for the one to unlock all the book of fables entries for it, and made a second file so I could make an alternate choice to get it.

 

Did so, got the achievement, but then the chapter ended and I re-unlocked the achievement I already had for that part of the episode.

 

Confused, I looked at my achievement list- I lost all the achievements I unlocked for completing Episode 3, except for that specific chapter that was completed in my alt file.

 

My original file meanwhile is still there, just fine.

We get some answer and a bunch of other question. Good to see Telltale knows how to handle the detective noir genre.

First run:

-Didn't interrupt the funeral, and didn't really tell anyone outside of snow that Crane was involved, though everyone finds out later anyways. Rumors fly fast it seems.

-Since this is the playthrough I arrested Woody on I went to the Triptrap first, figured it be a good way to tie up a few loos ends with Holly and try and track down the witch.

-Tweedle's office was the next stop, bluebeard's likely up to something but I really wanted to tie up as many loose ends as possible and looking through their files let me do just that.

-Didn't burn the tree, Snow might be a bit irked at me for it, but though Greenleaf has a point fable town could do better in looking out for their residence so I'm not about to cut a lifeline for them until their government gets it's act together.

 

Little disappointed I couldn't just get Bigby to say he didn't think Crane was the killer near the end. Snow was basically preaching to the choir as far as I was concerned.

Not really much to say other then I'm looking forward to replaying this one.

Don't know why anyone would hesitate in finishing Dum off. The guy shot you with an shotgun multiple times. There is more then an reason to want him dead for that. I also starting to get really annoyed with snow. I actually wish there was an option to talk her down with the witch situation. She was just being spiteful at that point.

I really enjoyed the crooked mile, but i think bigby might die in the last TWAU episode. Atleast it was an hour longer than the previous episode.

The Fables comics The Wolf Among Us is based on take place post-TWAU, so Bigby isn't dying. That much is a certainty.

Yeah, that's probably one of my biggest gripes with TWAU that Telltale really couldn't have done anything about; it's a prequel. Anyone with knowledge of the comics would have a pretty good idea of which characters are still going to be around by the end of it. 

 

I think the Snow twist at the end of episode 1 was a little spoiled by this.

As much as I try to be a diplomatic Bigby, I can't ignore what those two douchebags have done throughout the game. I don't know how anyone could've let him live because there was no way I was going to be able to do that.

I let him live because one he would just revive anyways since tweedle dee and tweedle dum is popular story and because he could have infomation. I did burn the tree though I can't escape the feeling that she might screw us over later.

Just recently finished A Crooked Mile myself and I have to agree that it was one heck of an episode. Offered a good variety of choices and investigation options and managed to fill up unanswered questions while simultaneously adding new questions without making it all a convoluted mess. Here's my list on what I did throughout the episode.

•  I interrupted the eulogy. I play my Bigby as someone who deeply cares for Snow and is someone he couldn't stand to lose. My Bigby fell down into misery and anger when Snow was presumed dead and was bitter with Crane and beat the information out from Tweedle Dee back in Episode 2. I as well played Bigby as someone little paranoid after the previous event and learning of Crane's suspicious involvement with the hookers, he was afraid he or someone would sooner or later go after Snow when learning she was alive so I wanted to leave the place as soon as possible. Turns out I was partially right. Didn't take the deal since I wouldn't ultimately follow with it.
• Didn't inform everyone of Crane. I myself was very certain Crane wasn't the killer since it felt too early in the game and couldn't picture Crane doing it. However, I tried to play as Bigby at first believing him to be the killer (out of emotion back in the hotel) to heavy suspicion back in the Business Office, ultimately to simply a possibly suspect. But for strange reasons the game had Bigby automatically believing Crane to be the killer. Don't know if it is b/c of the dialog I chose, but I don't remember directly saying he IS the killer. 
• Decided to go first to the Tweedle's office followed by the Trip Trap Bar. The Tweedle brother's involvement in these past episodes had me thinking they might now more on what is going on other than the clue to Crane's whereabouts. Really loved the interaction with the Flycatcher and his comments on the similarities with Bigby and the brothers. I had Bigby disclaim those facts and stated that he was misguided. Nice roleplaying opportunity and some small character development for me. Decided to go head next to the bar since I thought that was pointless and whatever Bluebeard found he would inform me later on. I had decided that Snow was just delusional with her believing Bluebeard was up to something earlier (though guess I was wrong). Went to the bar and cleared up with the Woodsman since previously we left off in a bad note (plus I didn't found his "affair" was of no concern to me).
• Burned the tree at Greenleaf. This was a decision I almost immediately regretted and she had a point with people's desperation with the Glamour (and I found Snow's comment quite surprising, since I thought she wanted to change things and help those in real need). I at first considered to have her aid us. Wasn't aware Bigby would offer her a job, since I didn't want to "reward" someone after doing something as illegal she had done and Snow had a point when she brought up we should burn the tree b/c of she was cooperating (which I found would serve as a great threat). Greenleaf of course spits out the info she was hiding, to which I then decided to leave. But when it came down to the decision, offer her a job or burn the tree, I went with the latter. Shame there wasn't an option to arrest her instead.
• Didn't kill Dum. I at first was inclined to do so, with the brothers continuous trouble making, threats, shooting and Bigby being in wolf form was a perfect opportunity to lose control (awesome scene by the way!). Ultimately I didn't, since what Flycatcher said stuck in my Bigby's head and with me playing as Bigby as someone wanting to "clean his past" I tried to show that not only is his past behind him but he is a better man than them and killing is not a justification. Really loved that moment when he goes from complete rage into misery and looks into Snow's direction and then gets shot in the back. Awesome.
