X1 and PS4 releases? Damn, would've waited and picked it up on now current-gen. Oh well, already got it going on 360 so I'm in it for the long haul.

Don't feel bad. No point in doing so.
And I must say I'm surprised with the opinions you all posted here. Am I the only one who completely LOVED the episode?

I decided to check Telltales official website after my post and it turns out there is currently no announced release date for EU PS3 owners. Hopefully Telltale won't keep us waiting too long.
Well I'll play it on the PC then. Thanks for replying and clarifying :-)

I just got this series a few days ago (and never played TWD, because it has zombies, and I hate zombie games and nothing in existence will ever get me to play them), and I have to say it was phenomenal. I never had to deal with the disappointment of Episode 2 since it was sandwiched between Episodes 1 and 3-4. I never read the comics, so I went into the series completely fresh, aside from knowing that Bigby's some sort of an authority figure.
The Ending of Act 1 was phenomenal. I think that's one of my absolute highlight story moments of any game ever. I also liked what they did with Faith. Coming into the game after the scuffle at the start, I was convinced she'd be a major character (and some form of noir LI for Bigby), so seeing what happened to her was super shocking.

Man, EP 4 is getting a LOT of hate various gaming sites, but I thought it was good. Not as good as EP 3, but good nonetheless.

I liked the episode. But the butcher shop segment was just boring if you ask me. I think the main problem was that it all felt too slow for the second last chapter, no sense of urgency or desperation despite the fact that everything is coming to an end. The only cool moments were the fight at the pawn shop and the final confrontation with the Crooked man (but only if you light the cigarette). I do agree when people say this was the weakest of all episodes.

I like that I now know what the box was for at Aunty Greenleaf's, given The Butcher link.

And, about the slow pacing of the episode... I think it comes down to the fact that this is a modern day detective story, and Bigby isn't a superhero, despite being a werewolf. Yes, there are a few action moments, but nothing over the top (I get the feeling some of you wanted gunfights, car chases and jumps over rooftops). The focus is on the characters and the investigation. The overall mood of the game shows this more personal side of everything. It all began with Bigby saving a prostitute from getting beaten up by an angry drunk, didn't it?
But I also think there was a sense of urgency and desperation in this episode, right from the very beginning. Conversations were more heated than usual, small revelations were coming from every corner, and the chase for a lead about the Crooked Man was evident in every scene

I guess people wanted a dramatic showdown this episode? But it looks like Episode 5 is the one with the dramatic showdown.

Yeah. One weird complaint I hear is the episode ending in a bad place, but I thought it was perfect. I'd agree if it ended when you entered the door.

I honestly think that people feel that because they didn't pick the lighting your cigarette option. That's just such an awesome way to end an episode. The others would be way more underwhelming, I think.

Ha, nice of him to post that picture. Always great seeing actors love their work like that.
The comics are also coming to an end. I remember reading a while ago that Fables will end sometime in the beginning of next year
(by the way, while talking about blasphemies I made this topic's post 666. ouch)

I wouldn't want them to make a Wolf Among Us 2, not with their Borderlands and Song of Ice and Fire projects going on simul.

Hasn't stopped them before. They're already working on all of them simultaneously.
Apparently there's even a fifth project right now. (Which I'm hoping is TWD Season 3 rather than ANOTHER IP TT picked up, but... )

I'm pretty sure he lights the cigarette no matter what you choose; I picked "talk", which had Bigby agreeing to talk... and then lighting his cigarette.I honestly think that people feel that because they didn't pick the lighting your cigarette option. And then when the next episode starts, Kenny runs in, smacks the cig out of his mouth, starts yelling at him and Clem's like, "No, Kenny! Wrong...game!" while she pulls him out of frame
