If anyone is having doubts about getting the comics, well don't, they are extremely good.

The characters are well-rounded, the stories are solid and offer a variety from murder investigations to small fairy tale stories, the humor is subtle and hilarious (though subjective), and more. What has most impressed me with the comics has been Bigby himself. He is a more collected, proactive, intellectual character than in the game and seeing him unravelling mysteries, scheming plots and manipulating events have been a joy to read through.

So I highly recommend people giving them a go, if anyone is one the fence.

Ordered Book One of a sort of Special Edition. 200+Pages of Bigby goodness... yeeeaaaaaaah!

 

And it was only 20 quid.

Btw, is the series finished? Or is this another TWD where it's been 200,000 years and it's still not done. Robert Kirkman is really a mangaka xD

 

It isn't done yet, but it is ending very soon from what I hear, in early 2015.

Well guess I finally got around to do it. 

 

It is not a review, more of a spoiler filled in depth look at the episode as a whole, its pros and cons and how it all adds up. It's a bit lengthy, but if anyone decides to read it, let me know what you think.

Finished reading it. Very elaborate view on the episode, Chewin! I agreed on many of your points, both on the positive and negative side. Especially liked your view on Crooky and Bloody Mary being mirror image of Bigby and Snow. Quite spot on really.

I think it is safe to say the fandom will be forever split on who that was.

I just started reading the comics myself and Dear Lord...

Those hairless bastards just murdered Colin. He spent a whole season with us and six chapters in and his head is left on a post as a warning.

Yeah, it's a really great series. I had a lot of fun with this one, and can't wait for season 2! He does smoke a lot though. It always bothered me whenever he would smoke inside of a place and then just drop it on the floor, stepping on it XD lol.

I always thought that line was not quite serious. I thought he just said it as an excuse. Haven't read Fables yet so I don't know if that's something that is elaborated upon.
