I don't think it would fit. It did in skyrim, kind of, but only after you save Nirn. In DAI, I think the game would be over after saving the world, so even if the pc could marry, you wouldn't see it unless there's an ending cinematic and you manage to survive.

So no wedding for you.

Hard to do if our characters keep vanishing after the story ends.

Just sayin' :innocent:

Doubt I'd ever put it in as something that could actually take place during a game, not unless it's a political marriage or something similarly dramatic and plot-related. That's getting a bit domestic for my tastes, otherwise.

You heard it here first folks; Dave doesn't like finality

Because it's waste of time! Takes away from fun stuff! Weddings, so boring... so dull... And all that feelings stuff is just... blegh.

...but ofcourse there should be a choice for this. I'm all for choice.

Get married ? R u serious ?
Did you make a child, found out about it not long ago and you dont want it to be a bastard?
Sorry, personally I think getting married is the biggest mistake one can ever make in entire life! Please ignore this, it's my opinion and I'm entitled to hold on to it, even if others think I'm wrong.
Back to thread: If u want to get married in a game and devs give that possibility go ahead and do it.

But we can get a great reward in the end of a game. For Humans only of course.:crying::crying::crying:

Last time I'll say it: it's not an option. Period.

It's not like it actually matters. Marriage equals love like triangle equals fish. Sure it could be a part of it, but it definitely isn't necessary for it and never equates to it.

Hmm... I say that it could work, if Bioware could find a way to make it fit into the story seamlessly (i.e.: Making the marriage 'scene' come up at an appropriate time. Not just before the final fight or whenever the romance has been fully achieved). Then again, who said that you can't just get engaged to your LI and have them getting married in the epilogue (it could be an actual cutscene or just stated that it happened) or, if one of them dies in the final battle (assuming that it is possible for people other than your character die in the final battle because of poor choices, i.e.: sending someone to defend a lost cause) they could be grieving (if the LI survived there could be some dialogue. If the LI died, then you may have a conversation with whichever companion you were closest to without romancing them, and you could choose to either: try to move on, continue grieving for a long while, or continue grieving for a while, then try to move on). Depending on the LI, it could turn out any number of ways. Then again, it could just be a small, informal wedding (as in, not officially recognized by law) and there may end up being some references to it by the other companions, who may have differing viewpoints, i.e.: One companion might approve while another would have preferred a bigger celebration (not necessarily the LI) and yet another might think that the whole idea was ridiculous.

Then again, this is all speculation.

a bit domestic ?
Citing personal experience ?
Someone did mention once that Gaider is divorced.
I don't know if that's true, and if it is true, whether that inflences his opinion on protagonists marriages .
Someone started a happily ever after thread and it occurs to me that I want a different epilogue for the Inquisitor .
Hawke disappeared . Warden disappeared .
I would like something different than just the Inquisitor disappeared.
