We'll see. After ME2 & DA2 I'm inclined to say yes and you can marry in DAO.

Because that's just not right unless your name is Charlie Sheen or Tiger Woods.
Its the end of the world, ''right'' doesn't matter anymore.

Never said it happens during the game, it could happen before any of this starts.

*ME3* Thank You for that.
Before any of what starts? Relationships develop throughout the game, you'd have to be able to get married very early on in the game. That is silly, imo.
Why get married just because tomorrow you could die? Isn't being with your LI enough? I just don't understand this concept, I guess.

Dying isn't on my to-do list either. I can think of worse fates than dyings single, though. I wouldn't want to die married to someone I had to marry for the propriety of the thing.animedreamer wrote...

Unless you live, but I'll concede if you die and dying probably would be preferably after the above, god knows you don't want to deal with all that baby momma/papa drama.

I need to live with a woman for several months before I even consider marriage.
It's the end of the world, so there's no time for that.

If it's one of the new party members i agree.. but if it's someone the inquisitor knew before hand? or what if the inquisitor was already married when the catastrophy struck?

Agreed. I don't understand the fascination with having your LI's baby or marrying him/her.
"This isn't a dating sim" is a tired argument, and quite frankly, it's just as silly now as it was then, since no one's actually calling for the game to just be romance, romance, romance all the time.
A lot of us happen to enjoy the LI aspect of these games. We think it adds another dimension of depth to the story and the protagonist's character. If you don't like it, then don't explore that aspect of the game. Simple.
By the way, marriages in games like Skyrim worked out just fine and no one had an issue with it.

And most marriages in Dragon Age seem to be arranged or political not out of love.
Also you can love and be devoted to a person without marrying them.
