Silly me, i completely forgot about that line.
I hope the person who narrated this gets some recognition or awards cause he really deserves it. He's like male version of Glados, maybe even better.

I felt bad for the narrator though, seeing how the entire point of the game seems to be searching for ways to stop him from telling him the story that he wrote for you. It's just an endless cycle of the game resetting so that Stanley can troll him some more. The narrator dreamed a dream for Stanley, but Stanley killed his dream. Perhaps the true meaning of the game is that the narrator is in hell, and Stanley is his eternal punishment.

Gah, so many games at the moment... but the demo was awesome.

Seeing as though I've got a ton of stuff to play, is this good enough to warrant purchasing now, or should I just hang on for a bit?

I suggest buying now largely because of how much hidden stuff there is. I just found out that you can climb out a window and kill yourself.
