which are the epic spells worth using?
is vampiric feast the best arcane spell and is damnation worth wasting a feat spot?

They're all worthwhile for roleplaying purposes.  For pure power, Vampiric Feast is without peer; Damnation is a pretty darn good save-or-die spell (wait until you see the DC's your victims need to roll). Mass Fowl is also great for any transmutation specialist who may coincidentally be part of your team. Epic Gate is a great summons and available fairly early. The others are a bit underwhelming but cool graphics.

Those are strange little trade offs. All the Epic Spells are better than Armor Skin, and at least the good ones I mentioned above are better than one point of additional STR.  However, if you haven't been raising your WIS the saving throw DCs will be sub-par, and if all you do is melee - I don't know what to tell you.

I personally am less than overwhelmed by having to buff up five+ rounds to be a match for a fighter of the same level so I haven't ever done a purely melee cleric, so for me the spells are a no-brainer.

this is the build l play
i will go for vampiric feast instead of great str
but should i get damnation as well as my cleric lvl is only 9(but i do have practiced spellcaster for it)
u mentioned the dc is insane so being only lvl 9 wont mater?

The saving throws for Epic Spells don't rely on your caster level, so as long as you can somehow manage to get your Spellcraft high enough for Damnation to be an option, I say go for it, but be sure to wear your Periapt of Wisdom.

I assume you mean level 29, as NWN2 only goes up to level 30.

I've taken epic spell feats a few times while playing MotB, both for PCs and for companions. I've never once used any of them though. By the time a character qualifies for them, I find that they've got so many high-level spells of their own that I tend to forget the epic spell feats are even there. I've never noticed any companions using the epic feats for themselves either.

ill risk getting teh epic spells not like im gonna miss +2 str anyway
