This too, of course. He was a very well thought out character with top notch voice acting. He was an instant favorite for me when he first appeared (sorry for not putting out any likes, I've been out for a couple of hours now).

Filoni commented in an interview that Kanan's skill was at a 9, while Vader's skill was over 4,000. They are on completely different levels. Dave understands, that's why I believe the above will happen.
Just going to point this out. The level 9 Kanan + Aladdin held their own against Level 4000 Vader in the first episode. They even beat him....
The first season was 6/10, with the last episodes 7/10.
Seriously, should I be blunt and say Rebels is completely inferior to Clone Wars series? Maybe it's at the same level of Season 1 of Clone Wars. But some people should have learned the lesson of Clone Wars series...
I'm sad about that female imperial governor. The inquisitor and that other imperial officer were fine villains. But at the end Vader stole all the honors of the series.

Just going to point this out. The level 9 Kanan + Aladdin held their own against Level 4000 Vader in the first episode. They even beat him....
No they didn't, they surprised him by knocking something on top of him and it didn't even phase him. He would have killed them had they not fled.
Vader should have killed Kanan when he was holding him up after he forced him to drop his lightsaber. He could have slashed right into his side!
And then force choke Aladdin at the same time.
