Let's go through the list for generic star wars badguy traits.

1. Pale white skin? Check.
2. Face tattoos? Check
3. Creepy eyes? Check.
4. Wears all black? Check
5. Force sensitive dark sider? Check
6. Weird looking saber? Check
7. Red? Check
8. Angry looking for no reason? Check

All that's left are,

9. Always sounds angry/snarling?
10. Double crosses everyone?
11. All looks no substance?

And of course,

12. Total Starscream?

Loved the Clone Wars. I enjoyed how humanized the clones were compared to the redshirts of the 2003 series.

As for "Rebel terrorism", I expect the rebels to be a more tame version of the Black Knights with the Empire being a Flanderized Britannia.

The first 8 traits can play applied to Asajj Ventress from Star Wars: The Clone Wars and she was developed into one of the best characters in the entire series. Darth Vader has the first seven traits and while not "looking" angry, he sounded angry or at least evil. Again, we don't know much about this person yet, so I wouldn't make any judgements. Darth Maul had a few angry looking images from The Clone Wars series, but he turned out splendidly. So did Cad Bane.

You can't always judge villains by their appearance.

Yeah, I have real high expectations for the Clone characters in the Rebels series. Here's hoping we see Rex and Fives return in the new series.

I think rebels will have a pretty light-hearted approach applied to them. I think other rebel groups could be shown to be bad people though.

Back in the original movies, anyways.

Although it has been canonized to a degree since, of course, we've still got X-Wings and Y-Wings and A-Wings flying around.

What? You mean Star Wars: The Old Republic? We're talking about Star Wars Rebels(and to a degree, Star Wars: The Clone Wars).

Wut?

Stupidest line ever. What is Lucas smoking?

Clones, raised and brainwased in a isolated faciltiy are MORE individual than random people who volonteer?
What? WHAT?

Alreay done more than once...

The main character from Inquisition - you can even torture suspects.
Also Nameless from Risen 2 is a cover agent of the Inquisition, but besides having a colonial attitude towards natives, they are usually nice guys.

Well, we did see that play out to an extent in clone wars. Also, this series is being made without lucas, so you should blame disney for it now.

Though it is a bit nutty at first glance.

If you've seen The Clone Wars series, you'd understand. Clones become very individualistic people when they get out of that facility. The Empire probably thought that there wasn't that much of point to keep producing Clones because the whole point of them in the first place was that they were suppose to be unquestioning and non-individualistic.

A good decision on Lucas's part and plus, it makes the Empire all the more imposing with a super-huge volunteer army.

Anyway, this seems pretty interesting.

I don't know if these Vader TV specials have to do with Star Wars Rebels but either way, I can't wait for them.

I would also argue that sith do not reflect the actual attitudes and actions of the everyday imperial citizen or solider.

Probably... but that they started recruiting "normals" because clone troopers had too much personality (after they´d been engineered to be more docile), says something about the average soldier.

The empire could have just used a force mind trick or any form of mind control on the clones to keep them loyal to the empire, tbh the clones have better aiming unlike their volunteer counterparts.

Or instead of spending money on producing Clones, they could simply have an entire volunteer army. I'd go with volunteer army. Also, the thing about the Stormtroopers not shooting at the main heroes in the original trilogy was a plot device for them to get away from a fire fight. It's like asking why Vader didn't just Force-grab Luke when he let himself fall.

http://www.comicbook...bPOlF0jmlS8.99' class='bbc_url' title='Lien externe' rel='nofollow external'>This is an old rumor, but David Oyelowo, Freddie Prinze Jr., Vanessa Marshall, Taylor Gray, and Steve Blum may be voice-acting for the series.

Steve Blum's a good choice for a voice-actor. Wonder if he'll play the Inquisitor?

This has been my issue since the second Clone Wars TV series started. I'm tired of the era tbh.
