Good the real thread is back.
Just mentally replace it with Avengers Earths Mightiest Heroes.
That makes more sense ![]()
Cartoon Network cancelled it and replaced it with that crappy new Teen Titans ![]()

Yeah, don't know what's up with DC animation.
Young Justice was the only good animated show they put out in a long time. Since Beware the Batman was terrible.
As for Marvel. I watch Ultimate Spider-Man, but Avengers Assemble just...Well I don't like it.
Definitely not a worthy successor to EMH, which I will admit imo, is the only Marvel series to truly rival the DCAU in terms of quality.
And it's just a catchy opening.
Disney canceled Young Justice?
Oh, ****. lol I should've said Tron: Uprising or Avengers Earths Mightiest Heroes.
Here's an image of Darth Vader in the series:

I probably would have liked this show as a kid, but after watching the first two episodes I already find it bland and boring.
Storyline so far & the characters have been cliche, predictable, and boring. Imperials have been just a bunch of incompetent mustache twirling villains, big surprise! And the way that blue haired kid looks grates on my nerves, he has a very punchable face.

At least there is some new non-jedi protagonists. Plus it has KOTOR feels.
The following link has a Star Wars Rebel commercial with Darth Vader in it:

Finally started watching this. Not bad, not bad...
Watched Fighter Flight recently. It was a good episode, but so far the low point of the series for me. The next episode, "Rise of the Old Masters", is pretty good and you can view it now online.
The Inquisitor was cool.
Otherwise show still hasn't managed to grab me. Ezra needs to ditch that worthless slingshot.

Think of it as a mass accelerator..

Doesn't suddenly make it useful.
But A for effort.

Don't forget Disney owns Star Wars so episodes like that are gonna happen
So far......... haven't impress me yet. Saw the first three epsiode and there was some stuff I liked, like Zeb leaving Ezra behind and the imperial agent seems pretty badass. But so far it's kinda predictable and cliche. We'll see
A little high res pic of Vader

A little high res pic of Vader
It's on right now for me, the scene is probably 30 seconds long and doesn't add anything to the plot. The scene is at the very beginning of the episode before it reveals Ezra. Vader just tells the Inquisitor that the Jedi Knights are extinct and that the Emperor has forseen a new threat, "the children of the Force", and that the Inquisitor is to eliminate them. The Inquisitor refers to Vader as Lord Vader, not master, so this implies that the old Inquisitor canon is likely still intact and that the Inquisitors serve the Emperor, not Vader, but Vader is still above them in rank seeing as how he is the Emperor's second/apprentice.

Dammit, this series' finale had better be the Battle of Yavin-- but from a grunt/pilot's P.O.V.
!!
Dave Filoni hinted in an interview with IGN that they (all or a couple of the Lothan Rebels) may have been present during the space conflict at the Battle of Endor. If true (although unlikely) the series could end during Return of the Jedi and just show a different view of the Battle of Endor or the Assault on the Second Death Star.

I was gonna watch this series.....but that animation............I can't.............probably why I can't get into the Clone Wars series
Everything just looks........cartoonish.............an I'm a huuuuuge star wars buff
It took the style of the Clone Wars a long time to grow on me and the Rebels art style is still growing on me, though it hasn't fully. I'd say just try and power through it, some of the stories told are great and dark in setting, you'll be missing out on a lot, it is well worth giving it a chance.
This is pretty dark, it doesn't show it in the clip, but if memory serves a lot of children die.

Meh
I finally got caught up on Star Wars Rebels, I enjoyed Out of Darkness and Empire Day. I like how small and contained they've managed to make Lothal feel, I think it was a good choice of them to place most of the show on Lothal. Also, the Inquisitor's Helmet looks awesome.
I can't help but wonder how long it will be until Vader gets involved. When he does, people (Incompetent Imperials) should start dying left and right.
^ That pic reminds me of the Mcquarrie/Concept Vader...
