I finally got caught up on Star Wars Rebels, I enjoyed Out of Darkness and Empire Day. I like how small and contained they've managed to make Lothal feel, I think it was a good choice of them to place most of the show on Lothal. Also, the Inquisitor's Helmet looks awesome.

I can't help but wonder how long it will be until Vader gets involved. When he does, people (Incompetent Imperials) should start dying left and right. 

 

The Inquisitor has become one of new favorite characters at this point. 

 

 

 

He may have failed at the end of this season, but he sure leaves an impression.

Oh absolutely, when he shows up you know things are going to be serious. It's really spooky to me because of the fact that Kanan is outmatched, he was only a padawan when Order 66 went down if I recall correctly.  

 

Seasons over? I thought it was on break.

I really haven't heard much about it, but is it better than The Clone Wars?

Here and there I find it to be stronger, but it hasn't outdone the strongest arc of The Clone Wars, yet. It really depends on the arcs, I think that Rebels greatest strength is that it always focuses on the same set of characters and builds on them and the shows location, Lothal, which is pretty much the one location of the show. 

 

I'd recommend Rebels.

So, has anyone else been keeping up with Rebels? 

 

I'm surprised that we have pre-existing characters making appearances, I figured that wouldn't be a thing until towards the end of Season 2.

the Lando episode. The Yoda cameo was also nice, but I found it to be a bit unnecessary. Ezra's lightsaber is pretty sweet though, I wonder if it has any other hidden functions that we don't know about?

The Clone Wars ended off on a pretty high note with the final season (especially the Yoda arc), a height that Rebels has yet to reach. That said, for the first season, it's pretty good and I would recommend it to anyone that's a Star Wars fan.

I'm curious as to what everyone's favorite episodes are.

 

"Call to Action" is my favorite episode so far, it just seemed perfect in terms of the pacing and action, the stakes definitely got raised.

 

I can't wait for the next episode, Season Finale!

I actually forgot I started making my way through this. Whatever episode Lando was in is the one I just finished.

You just finished "Idiot's Array" and are ready for episode 10 "Vision of Hope". "Call to Action" is right after that and then is "Rebel Resolve"; you'll be caught up right after that. 

 

(I have a list on my computer, so I know when the new episodes come out. It-it's not like you're special or anything, B-baka!)

I watched two episodes. When I saw the Inquisitor/Dark Jedi I just couldn't help but roll my eyes. Sigh, I miss The Clone Wars

 

From my understanding the Empire comes off as useless as they appeared in the Original Trilogy...

Duh, I've only watched 5 episodes. The Inquisitor showed up in that episode. It was a trap and ambush...

I thought the show was a bit weird. I remember vaguely that there is a scene where stormtrooper cadets had to jump around platforms and shoot at moving targets at the same time while other cadets are trying to shoot them.

 

Makes you wonder where and how do they become worse at their job.

They are probably quite good when they aren't shooting main characters. Buy when you have a series where they fight only named characters they are going to suck always. With the fed droids there was the excuse they were cheap to produce and effective for zerging (they did win against gungans and sometimes clones after all), with stormtroopers no idea if there's any.

The season finale is going to reveal Fulcrum's identity (I think Fulcrum is Obi-Wan, it would explain how Kanan got the holocron, Fulcrum wearing the hooded robes and the advice to go into hiding. I had originally suspected Bail Organa, but figured that it wouldn't make much sense due to the fact he appeared already).

Darth Vader and Bail Organa will return in the season finale. Vader shall once again be voiced by James Earl Jones.
