No, I am not talking about multiclassing or de-level and re-level. I want to change the initial standard class (wizard, cleric, spirit shaman, etc.)
I played MotB several times and felt that there are too many casters. 3 casters amongst 4 is too much especially when my PC is a caster, too.
So, I want to, say, change Kaelyn into Fighter/Divine Champion. What is the easiest way to do that? As I am a novice in scripting, the easier, the better.
Is there any way to change the classes of companions?

I just answered a VERY similar question earlier today. Look at the "Constitution bug again..." thread in the OC sub-forum.
You're going to use the same procedure except instead of editing an Item, you're going to edit a Creature. Click the Creatures tab instead of the Items tag; load the proper MOTB module. Unfortunately they don't have very revealing names, but I think Safiya is in A_X1.mod and Gann is in B_X1.mod . You'll have to hunt for Kaelyn - and don't ask me how to edit Okku or OofM.
Be aware that the game does some things on the fly to Safiya, so I'm not sure your changes will stick. Kaelyn and Gann should be permanently fixable, though.
p.s. These changes will only work with newly started games. If you want to edit a character who has already joined, see this thread and extrapolate: Changing a character in a saved game

Thanks.
Using Leto for editing .ros files seem to be not so difficult. Though some struggle may be needed to modify Gann and Kaelyn, as their races are non-playable ones and thus I need to modify feats carefully.
