RHA is cheating.

And you wonder why I refuse to play with you.

Pfffft. Like I'd want to play with a reload cancelling cheat?

There was a time where I was bothered by Missile Glitchers or out of the map glitch users... but now, I don't care anymore. If Bioware is too stupid to fix these possibilities for people to cheat in this game, then why should I care? I stumbled upon many guys that used some kind of cheat/hack while pugging (btw OP you forgot some more like: one hit kills, godmode, credit glitch...) and do you really think that I leave every game in progress I get thrown into and lose all of my high-level gear for nothing - no way, son. I don't cheat/hack myself, but I really don't care anymore if I stumble upon someone who does it.

IMO: Everything is acceptable as long as you aren't ruining the fun of others in public lobbies. If you are soloing for great epeen, everything is acceptable as long as it's either *obvious* what you did or you explicitly state it: people are free to decide the relative level of your accomplishment based on the information that's clearly available.

e.g.
Acceptable: Hacking from outside the zone
Unacceptable: Decreasing the damage enemies do by 20%.

I agree with most everything you said. I think the all powers kits should be semi acceptable as far as just playing once then resetting.

Playing outside the map is unacceptable IMO but just playing around with it is completely acceptable. It's one thing to mess around with it and another to play the whole match outside it.

Sorry but that's just stupid. Only a very few kits is it completely game breaking to spec fitness on.

All glitches are, by definition, unacceptable. Follow the rules. Simples.

That's an interesting way of looking at it!

Also, all cheaters deserve to rot in prison for all the crimes they have committed. Humanity deserves better. We deserve better.

Realistically, by now everything is acceptable. No more official oversight for ME3 MP, you can pretty much do what you want and get away with it.

At least for solo play or with similar minded players. If you play with random people, sticking to the normal, vanilla experience is the safest way to go, which pretty much means nothing out of the ordinary is a save bet. Running with pizza for example is pretty much known and accepted, but can still annoy people that play for the challenge aswell as being annoying due to the constant audio drops that comes with it. Glitching outside the map will generally not be healthy for teamplay. And missile glitching isn't much beloved by genuine gamers either. Plus of course the no-no of blatant cheating, though by now most people would be happy to see a single Gold game earning them a couple hundred million credits. They might not approve, but they'll spend the cash anyhow as there's no way to revert to correct credit sums with no more live support for the MP.

So you got a pair of handcuffs and prison scrubs picked out for yourself already?

Regarding 6/6/6/6/6, I've done it unintentionally a couple of times when leveling up classes, and would have no idea how to replicate it if someone asked me to. Do I really deserve to have my ass pinched and poked in a Gulag for that? :(

You can't do the 66666 glitch unintentionally. You may have not been trying to get the extra points, but you still allocated them.

Also, why is everyone so against getting out of the map? It's not like I would spend entire games outside.

Running with the pizza isn't that hard to do on consoles, it just requires a very precise coordination. And you forgot Warp/Incendiary cheese, which is acceptable imo, albeit really cheap.
Other than that, I agree with your list.

I've never seen anyone able to do it well on console.

and warp/incendiary would go under "incendiary glitching"

I've never understood how people claim to do it unintentionally. Once you've maxed out 4 trees, surely it's obvious that something has gone wrong somewhere?

I agree with everything except hacking. Doing it within the zone is what can make it challenging. This glitch makes a hack objective no different from any non-objective wave.

Well, the first time I had the glitch I didn't realize I had too many skillpoints until after I had maxed three trees and then realized "wait ... I'm only level 8, how can I max three skill trees" and then only noticed how I had negative skill points.

It wasn't like all my skills were maxed, but still I had way more points allocated than would be due for that level, so I unintentionally did it once ... hadn't used that character after the realization until BSN figured out a fix for the glitch.

The game goes on as normal for the other 3 people on your team (who probably won't even realise what you're doing, will be wondering why the hell you aren't in the circle, and will almost certainly not res you if you die)...

I'm sure it has nothing to do with attempting to justify cheating.

@Panda:

It's not "running" with the pizza, but rather "thrusting yourself onward" with the pizza. You gotta look at some two meters away from your feet. Long press A until you start letting the object fall and then re-press A really rapidly thereafter. The audio hints are fondamental to succeding. You must stop pressing A at the moment of the dropping sound begins and re-press it before it ends.

/unwantedadvice.

I'm only referring to people who have all 5 trees maxed, and did it "accidentally".

Why is missile glitching acceptable in private lobbies? People who don't glitch have to spend time, effort, and maybe even money to get their weapons and equipment.

Missile glitching is acceptable in private lobbies because they're not hurting anyone.

I don't care if people get their guns by cheating because it won't make them a better player and it's funny to watch them flail about when they try to play legitimately. I need something to laugh at in this game.
