IIRC, using incendiary rounds with certain weapons/powers was never a banable offense. 5x6 characters were. I'll go with what bioware used to ban for as being worse.

Pretty much this. 

I made a thread explaining how I 6/6/6/6/6 glitched every kit I could and the only ones where it mattered was the Geth Trooper, the Collector Adept... And something else, I forget which one.

For instance... Typical Asari Huntress build is 6/6/6/5/3. A 6/6/6/6/6 Huntress has 10% more weapon damage, 200 more health/shields (still gets gated in one shot), and 15% better shield recharge delay. Hardly game breaking at all... And that example was par for the course. Juggy gets both turret and shield... Big whoop, Krolord gets both hammers, big whoop, Volus get full garbage fitness trees, etc. Etc. Etc. 

Some kits are so bad they deserve to be glitched... Like the SaboTurian.

The Shaman, Collector, Trooper, Juggernaut, Sabotuer, Talon, Hunter, and Valkyrie all get improved greatly. And the infiltrators turn super OP, way more than they already are. So unfair really. Even the ones I didn't list get a pretty nice boost to their effectiveness.

LOL. Looking at your N7 HQ, you glitched out ALL of your characters. No wonder you're defending this. You want to make it seem like it's not a big deal. If it really doesn't matter, then don't use the glitch.

LMAO, this guy (megabeast37215) has 22 characters! fully maxed out (6/6/6/6/6) and hasn't accomplished even one Platinum solo! But he goes around on this forum bragging like he's some kind of hardcore pro player like INVADERONE, heck yeah he even brings his bull**** to nearly every thread Caineghis make (and Caineghis is really a great gamer and a very good entertainer, I subscribed to his channel!) Smh, stop talking big and start acting big, you douchebag. 

Megabeast is actually one of the better posters on this site in my opinion (at least he was until every second post of his became a complaint about how bad this game is) and seems to be considered an extremely good player by those who have played wth him. Plat solos do not a great player make.

I like and respect you cato. But then answer me these two questions: why does an extremely good player need to use a cheap cheat like maxing 22 of his characters out 6/6/6/6/6?! And why does he have to belittle every thing Caineghis has done to entertain us subscribers (and Caineghis has done some excellent stuff, no doubt about his quality as a player and his talent to entertain people)?! I mean, that's strange dude. Also, I 100% agree with you cato, that accomplished a Platinum solo doesn't make one player better than another - but it's also strange to me how megabeast can belittle Caineghis for every Platinum solo he made while himself never has done it. If it's so ****ing easy like he's saying all the time on Caineghis threads, then why don't he just let some action follow after his words? 

Because Cain and I have our own beef, which is old news and pretty much been squashed. I dont solo Platinum because I hate soloing, or im terrible... Whichever you want to believe is fine.

You'd have to ask Megabeast himself for a proper answer to those questions of course but I seem to remember he wrote on these forums a couple of months ago that he decided to glitch as many characters as he could as a kind of experiment to test just how much effect the glitch really had.

I agree Caineghis has done some really good stuff but I think it's fair to say that Megabeast isn't the only person who has issues with him. Caine just rubs people the wrong way sometimes.

Warp and incendiary ammo use the same DoT damage value, so when used together the damage is compounded and instead of being applied separately, they are combined into one damage. This compounded damage can get pretty high, but what really breaks it is this higher number is then multiplied by defense bonus to massive damage.

"Stand here and look at this spawn point while I run around and kill everything" is what he would say. He talked like he was all-knowing, and was extremely pretentious and arrogant. Then he removes me from his friend list because apparently he "couldn't stand my company." lol

Some of that partially true... Because I used to run camping strategies... But I don't think I would ever ask anyone to stay put while I went ham, the point of camping is to synergize/focus fire.

I also... Wasn't the only person who didn't enjoy your company. You're weird dude... Like pedophile weird. It's ok... It's not like either of us are short on friends.

Hmm, I don't know you personally megabeast but cato's word is enough for me to believe that you're a good player. I understand that Caineghis may not be the easiest person sometimes, but then just say he's an ass or that he has a bad character in your opinion or whatever... but even you can't question the fact that Caineghis is a good player. The one thing doesn't affect necessarily the other thing - one can be an arse by times but still a good player, one can be a very fine guy but suck terribly at this game and of course the remaining two options: one can be an arse by times and suck at this game or be a fine guy and be a great player. Caineghis never treated me without respect in the past, so I can't share your opinion on him. Anyway that's it for me, work is calling.

I know Cain is a great.. no.. phenomenal player... I have played with him dozens of times. What I gaive him crap about was putting the Acolyte/CSMG combo on 80% of his kits. I was goading him to diversify his loadouts and stop crutching on one particularly OP weapon setup.

Also... If you really wanna press Cain's buttons... Talking about his ME3 prowess is/was the way to go about it. Is it a coincidence that after all that, he did Hsol Avenger/GPR vids? Maybe... Maybe not

Why does incendiary glitching make the unfairness of the 6/6/6/6/6 builds irrelevant? Incendiary glitching is still just an exploit of poor calculations between two game elements, while 6/6/6/6/6ing is just straight up cheating. To activate the incendiary glitch, you just put on incendiary rounds. Totally acceptable game behavior. To do the 5x6 builds, you are intentionally going against how the game was designed to be played.

It's irrelevant because you said that Incendiary Rounds is also unfair. They're both unfair by your own words.

Either way, I've never known life to be fair anyway. It's not fair that the TGI has top notch survivability and damage output while my Turian Saboteur is fairly weak in both even with a full spec.

To clarify, I am not talking about Incendiary Rounds doing 3x damage when stacked with itself. I am talking about stacking it with abilities to make it inherit defence modifiers so that it can deal damage to shields/barriers and massive amounts of damage to armour.

So no, you do not "just put on Incendiary Rounds".

Obviously the glitch isn't going to be making the sabotuer better than the TGI, but what about your glitched sabotuer vs my non glitched sabotuer? What about your glitched TGI vs my non glitched TGI? That's unfair.

The Incendiary glitch gives a much bigger advantage than 6/6/6/6/6. By far.
But unlike max skill points it's not a bannable offense.

Therefore 6/6/6/6/6 not acceptable (if going by official rules), while Incendiary glitch is actually more unfair.
