So, apparently the inquisitor survived the Tear...and was the only one who did? Does anybody sense a good ol' BioWare plot twist?

And no, don't bring up ME3 please. I'm talking Jade Empire/KOTOR twists, the ones that make you laugh at just how awesome it was.

Perhaps there is some truth to the theory that the inquisitor has more in common with Cole than we like to think? ^^

Yeah, both the JE and KotOR twists blew me out of my socks. I thought I knew what the JE twist was before revelation came, and I suppose I had indeed figured part of it, but holy crap all that foreshadowing just came back and I felt completely shattered!

The KotOR one I didn't see coming at all, yet the (awesome) flashbacks showed me that I had indeed been warned. Blown away to this day =)

There was nothing funny about the Kotor twist. I simply sat there, dumbfounded. But yeah, I hope they include a really big twist in the game, hopefully something completely earth shattering.

Agreed 100%

I've put forth the idea before, but I actually think the Inquisitor might be a disorientated spirit that's forgotten its a spirit.

The Inquisitor was dreamed into existence within the Fade, he/she is Tidus without the ridiculous outfit.

The Warden, Hawke and the Inquisitor are actually controlled by a god called Gamer.

Actually yeah, we haven't had a twist for a while!...well, I haven't had one since the Baldur's Gate games (I can't speak for DA2, or ME, or JE, or other games in the franchise that I haven't played).

How about...you're actually the bad guy, and the darkspawn are the goodies? XD

I honestly wouldn't doubt it :(

Speaking of ME3, I went to Walmart today and saw a $10 clearance box with about 40 to 50 copies of
ME3 in it. Man "Word of Mouth" is a powerful weapon. O_o

No one liked the Inquisitor so they dumped their ass. All the "surviving the tear" is an excuse so they could finally feel important. And everyone finds out later that your village/town hated your guts.

I didn't find such a horrifying and complete annihilation of the character I had created to be all that "awesome" in KotOR, actually.

So I guess on some level, I sure hope not. But that's not really what it is--it's the standard Bioware "...and only I/my companions made it out alive" intro.

Would be ****ing badass if halfway or three quarters of the way through the game we find out that we are actually helping along the end of the world or whatever is going on.

I hope it all ends up being a dream. At the end of the game a 1970's hippie wakes up from a drug-induced delirium, goes to Boston to find his long lost ferret and then goes on to win a fashion show.

Man, that would be so awesome.
