So want to play a character that will brake there hip the first time they are hit?
Is it possible to set the age for your PC? I mean, it's kinda cool to play as a 75-year-old Dalish who still looks kinda young...

I'm not convinced that the age of the Warden was necessarily fixed. For some of the origins, perhaps, but even if they were fixed I'd argue that they weren't all the same.LobselVith8 wrote...
The age of the Inquisitor might be fixed like it was with The Warden and the Champion.
Regardless, my default character for these games is always a 51 year old man. The extent to which a game allows me to play that character goes a long way to determining how I judge its quality.

I think the reason age is not often a choice is because younger characters have less of a past and therefore much easier to make generic enough to allow roleplaying.

Does this actually mean anything at all since you just make up your own head cannon no matter what happens in game?
Also, Dalish are not immortal hence a 75 year old Dalish would look like an old man...err...elf.

Yeah. Hugh Hefner will be the next Felicia Day.

Sure it does. If the other characters all think the PC is 22, or the child of someone who clearly isn't over 50, then it makes playing that character largely pointless.Wissenschaft wrote...

Simply ignoring the NPCs doesn't help if you have to ignore all of them.
