Tecnically you just learn what the NO has done in previous lives too, so...

RPGs by your definition might not exist. My definition is "game that uses experience points as the primary measure of character power" and there are plenty of games that belong in that list. I'm not as picky as you are about what things are classified as, though. I'm actually perfectly fine with more games being listed cross-genre than having some sort of exacting standard, simply because the entire idea of game genres wasn't meant to be scientific naming convention, but a loosely grouped collection of titles for retailer shelf space.

I see your point, certainly. XP and level ups are an important factor. Mostly, these days, this only gives the player more options on how to kill stuff. Unless the game also included non-combat skill. That bit is becoming more rare as well. Ideally an rpg features combat, level ups, but also the option for the player to create their own character with his own personality and things like that. Getting to decide what that character says and does in situations. Roleplaying is\\used to be a combination of all of these.

Can't speak for earlier games but DA I seems to be throwing alot of resources at something that makes up about 1% of the game.

I considered ME1 and ME3 to have decent and even good scenes. They didn't break the game.

Hell, at least that was funny. Most vide game sex scenes (with the notable exception of that rose bathtub scene in The Witcher 2) are neither funny nor "tasteful."

Yes. The Liara scene in ME3 was one of the more tasteful romance scenes I've seen in a game. If this is what the DAI team hopes to reproduce (no pun intended) on the next-gen consoles and PC, well, more power to them.

But it is a vastly diffrent ending, which also has sex. Should please many of the bsn folks.

Nah, they've grown too attached to their waifus so any sex scene that doesnt involve their pixel girlfriends is pointless to them.

Here's a tip, child: Get to know other folks, for real, before you pass judgment on them. You seem real "good" at the latter, but sorely lacking in the former. Grow up.
