No, it's called wasting money on pointless sh!t. Or, in Biowares case, wasting money on pointless sh!t they can't even do well.

Well combat tweaking must be wasting money too then since according to the fandom both games' were awful.<_<

In Biowares case, probably. Combat in both DA games were pretty abysmal.

So basically Bioware should just make Visual Novels?

they allready did. Its called Dragon Age 2

There won't be anything else. DA I will be a VN with a vague fantasy plot in the background.

Sounds better than your alternative.

In the hands of a competent company, it might be.

Yup. Give me 1 example of how the player can change the outcome of the story, and I will agree with you.

DA2 places the player in the passanger`s seat. Not in the driver`s seat (where they should be).

Mass Effect is a good series to emulate.

Generally speaking the ME series has handled romance/sex scenes better than the DA series and comparable games like the Witcher.

Well, DA2 was a vast improvement over DAO and on par with ME2. It's getting there.

I agree.

If you dislike their games why are you posting on their forums?

In act 2 you can make several different outcomes which change wether or not you side with/against Petriece, how friendly/unfriendly you are to the Arishok and wether or not you hand over Isabela.

Fate Stay Night has 3 different story branches and at minimum 6 different endings based on the choices you have Shirou make compared to DA2's railroad plot and 2 slightly different endings.

Have you even played a VN?

Outcome of the story.

Anders still blows up the chantry, and you have to kill Meredith and Orsino in whatever order. Thats the outcome. You also get to that point no matter what you do with Isabela and the Arishok earlier.

I'd rather a FTB and have the animation resources go somewhere else. Like BW's godawful hands.

Yeah this.

BW could make godly visual novels if they wanted to.

That said DA and DA2 are far more than just the romances so saying they should be VNs cause "OMG Romance scenes!" is dumb. There's VNs without a hint of romance in them.

Which is why comparing DA2 to a VN just makes you look stupid.

Actually, personal attacks makes you look stupid. Because you have given up argumenting against the opposition`s arguments in the discussion, and changed the subject over to the other person, instead of sticking to the topic.
