Fate Stay Night has 3 different story branches and at minimum 6 different endings based on the choices you have Shirou make compared to DA2's railroad plot and 2 slightly different endings.
Have you even played a VN?
Course not. 99.99% of the time someone wants to compare a BW game to a dating sim or visual novel they've never actually played the things.
There are free visual novels Raw if you want to play some. Most of the ones I can recommend are otome though...
Gamespot: DA Inquisition sex scenes will be "mature and tasteful."

Pointing out how posting about something you have no clue about makes you look stupid isn't a personal attack it's showing you how silly you look and helping you to stop embrassing yourself.Rawgrim wrote...
Actually, personal attacks makes you look stupid. Because you have given up argumenting against the opposition`s arguments in the discussion, and changed the subject over to the other person, instead of sticking to the topic.
Yes it is. Since you are directing it at me, and not what it is in my posts that you consider to be stupid.
Personal attack : Making of an abusive remark instead of providing evidence when examining another person's claims or comments.
Have you even played a VN?
Yes. Just not that game. And I won`t play it, for reasons I have stated earlier. Not my fault if you assume I have played no VN games just because I said I haven`t played the one your brought up.
There's also:
Shuffle
Rumbling Hearts
School Days
Muv Love
Clanned

Lot of pointless BS complaining guys. You know the old saying, if you're gonna do something do it right? Well here we have someone explaining how they're do something really well and put a lot of hard work and passion into it, and all you guys do is complain. Christ almighty. No we don't want the developers to try hard and have passion for their work.
I'm sure they're know what they're doing. Having tasteful sex scenes in a game isn't gonna ruin the experience for you. So Re-friggin-lax.
Bioware has yet to do romance well.
Well you don't seem to think so, but I disagree and I'm sure MANY other people will.
Liara, Tali, Morrigan and Leliana are very well written. If you don't like it, well I got good news for ya. The games don't force you to do it.

Which Visual Novels have you played? Mostly so I can see if they're actual VNs and not KNs.
Played a few older ones, years ago. Found them on Abandonia.com. Can`t remember the title. One of them involved a classic sword and sorcery quest. They were buidt as a novel, where I got to decide what the main characters should do, and the story branched out based on my choices. It was old, though. But it counts
Sorry for the slow post. I was looking for the games to give you a proper link.

Sure.
But in a video game , I don't find sex scenes great.
It's as inspiring as watching Barbie and Ken (or ken/ken Barbie/barbie whatever you like) humping each other.
Besides , obviously you can't interact (that'd be awkward) and I play games to interact , at least when my pc is talking I can be involved.I like that better.

I'd agree with him if we are comparing it to films.
That being said I think they've done very well overall by video game standards. Within the industry, where has it been done better?

But that's the point. You can't compare it to films, the same way you can't compare movies to books. They're different media and tell stories differently.

I thought the sex scenes in DAO and DA2 were pretty bad. But Mass Effect did them pretty well. Especially Liara's love scene in ME3.

I meant the outcome of the story. The end of it, was linear. In DA2 you get ending. Nothing you do in the game affects the ending.

Yeah, and that was suposed to be a relatively low budget game. I don't see DAI suffering any significant handicap in their core aspects that would even remotely justify the bashing BioWare is getting for trying to make love scenes better.

Nothing you do in DAO affects the ending, not truly. ME3, on the other hand, is exactly the opposite.
See my point?

The ending of DA:O: you can become king, queen, die, make an od god baby, loghain can die, Alistair can die. Based on stuff you did earlier in the game. DA2: You kill meredith first, or orsino first. Anders blows up the chantry. Its set in stone. 1 ending.

Slow there. That highly depends on the VN. Most of them have different endings.

Well, Jaza, do you complain about the "sex scenes" or the romances now?
And Mdoggy, yeah, count me to the many people. I like the romances in the Bioware games. Because I don´t expect them to be like real life and I don´t see them as some wish fullfillment. I have a life and I enjoy a game/story.
