I wonder if they're going to delve into the whole DAII route, with moving in and all that jazz. It sort-of worked for DAII, since of all the time span, but I don't know how the story is going to pan out in Inquiz.

Planescape: you decide your personality, plenty f choices, behavior, if your character is smart, dumb, charismatic, wise, personal beliefs (via joining organizations). Plenty. You don`t get to pick a gender, though.
The witcher character is based on a character from the books. But it does let you make choices that affect the world around you, and if you us magic (signs) instead of swords etc.
Anyway I was just reccomending games to the other person. Games with choices and several endings to them. You are just taking one quote out of context, and addiing it to something else. I am sure you don`t honestly consider Silent Hill to be an rpg.

I know what you meant by that. But VN are basically books with images (there is one that uses animated videos, School Days, creeped the sh*t out of me).
Walking Dead is more like a movie with choices, than a VN or RPG.

Nameless One is not a set character. You wake up on a slab. Thats it. The player decides everything else about him and his personality.
Geralt is a set character. Most likely he i the main character from the books the games are based on...

I think the development and addition costs of sex scenes are somewhat not needed. But I find developing romances are a great addition to any RPG.
