This is just PR talk. They knew damn well the players were attached to their Shepard's. How can you make a RPG and not know this? Regardless of what you think about the endings (good or bad) I bet every player was attached in some way to their Shepard.

Come on Mac...........

#ItsYourShepard

I need to save that for whenever people mention how "Shepard isn't really ours"

Me too, usually, but rum always made me a little more confrontational.

It is the player's Shepard, as long as the player understands that it's their version of BioWare's character.

Would you please show me a dialogue choice where Shepard cannot act like an agnsty teenager?

I think that the writing in Me3 is better than ME2 ,with epic and sad moments,i don't like the original endings,it felt rushed, but the EC changed it, there certain things i wanted like some companions from ME2 and a real goodbye moment (I played Citadel), the rest of the game is fine.

If you truly believe this I can only say that you have an enviable memory

Its my opinion, you don't need to like, I enjoyed ME3 and if you don't i'm sorry.

I just fail to see why you think that.  The game fails on numerous levels completely unrelated to the ending.

I can't really think where you get an option for Shepard not to act like that.  Even the renegade options are less "I'm legitimately not affected" and more "Its just a front"  thats not customization

I dont have a problem with that at all and fully agree.

But saying that, my ruthless Shepard felt the most disconnect in ME3 with auto-dialogue being all wussified.

I don't get that impression exactly, but I realize that I'm more tolerant than you are of ME3's shortcomings (which, yes, subtlety is definitely not the game's strongest suit).

I still argue for the option to side with Cerberus.

I like choices in choice based game

Both, really.  Editor lets it slip, but the author's responsible for it in the first place.

Do the people on this thread realize they're just making their complaints laughable instead of legitimate by including this very stupid whining?
