I am reasonably certain that this has been mentioned before. But, would all agree that those dang Husks are a royal pain in the Jack-Ass?????

It depends on the game difficulty.
In ME1, Husks are not that big of a problem except on Insanity.
in ME2, Husks only start to become a problem on Hardcore or Insanity.

On the Derelict Reaper, they made me poo my pants....
Attacking left-side, right-side. Giving orders to my team, trying to keep them alive, meanwhile trying to destroy the Reaper IFF core.

I agree they overdid it with the husks in ME2, especially if you play on Hardcore or Insanity. Armored Husks? Give me a break. Nice to see BW can play Calvinball with the best of them and completely nerf an entire class of powers in the process. Which is why I play on Veteran except on Haestrom (because I want that Geth Pulse Rifle, even if it is only for show, and because Geth are still Geth at the harder levels and don't suddenly acquire armor). I think they took the smarter route in ME3 where Biotics really shine. (Especially since a number of biotic powers now can be used on protected enemies, most particularly Dominate.)
On whole, though, Husks, while super annoying are not hard to deal with on Veteran or lower difficulty levels. Any physics based attack will kill them: throw, slam, singularity, pull, shockwave. One neat trick to use if you are an Adept is to lay down a wide singularity on a choke point. It lasts at least 30 seconds and any Husk that runs through it is killed.
Added: The reaper iff mission makes me suspect Cerberus really is behind the abductions. I swear there is an entire colony's worth of Husks on that ship.

Cain. If it never use it anywhere else, I WILL use the Cain on the Reaper core.
