Now im sat here a wonderin whats going on, bioware re released me1 within the trilogy but didnt update anything. They never fixed the peak 15 or ilos bug for amd cpus which is due to the new amds not having the process for something 3d or whatever (black magic to me) but didnt update the graphics or textures.

Now im wondering exactly how hard is this when players are creating text mods and lighting effects etc for mass effect 1 and 2. ive even been told there is a dx11 mod for me1 and some people have directly implanted me2 and me3 textures into me1.

Now myself i go hell for leather with modding dragon age but im not so keen on modding mass effect, any of the them for a few reason. First is that you have to mod alot of files which i dont really wanna do as i know im more then likley gonna naff something up. Second is you have to use a textmod for alot of them and i dont know how to use it. Third reason is if i introduce a bug or conflict with addons i have no idea in mass effect what is actually causing the bug or glitch because unless you know how to write them or how they work you basically have no idea which its going tobe.

Final reason is i heard and i dont know if this is true but its a bannable offence to alter the game in such a way, that might only be in me3 but i dont see anywhere that its not for all of them. The fact within the projects there is no mass effect section makes me think they never intended or wanted us to mod it like dragon age for example.

So do you think its on that Bioware re released mass effect 1 within a trilogy and didnt update it and does anyone else think bioware should just go in and do us a patch to update mass effect 1 to what it is possible of being in todays methods of possibilitys or at the least fixing the bugs in peak 15 etc ???

Sure. I wish they would fix that Peak 15 ME1 graphic bug. I haven't played ME1 on that machine for while though. I'm sorta surprised it is still around.

Wish they would fix the ME2 bugs as well. There are a crap-load of walkmesh errors in ME2 that will send you up in the air and force a reload. I hit them every time I play ME2, even though I know exactly where they are. Not to mention the ME2 face import bug that screws up faces when they get to ME3.
