Meanest Dialogue?

Personally, I think when the clone says "Like you, EDI. You're nothing more than electrons pretending to be alive." I thought that was brutal.
What about you guys?

It was so horrible that it was funny.
Renegade!Shepard is obnoxiously harsh to squad and crew in ME1 & 2. It's not even for legitimate, disciplinary reasons either, it's like he/she's just chewing people out for the sake of it. Paragon!Shepard with Mordin is also pretty bad, though.

Yeah, I felt kind of mean playing a Paragon on Mordin's LM. There were a couple of Paragon choices I couldn't pick.

Lol I forgot all about the first one. I almost never have Wrex die. As for Mordin, I avoid most "paragon" dialogue with him, because it just seems so unjustly judgmental.

I never understood why most characters didn't stand up for themselves when Shepard was being a jerk. Spinless, I tell you.
What were you expecting? They weren't dancers.

Neither did I. I guess they were afraid of Shepard. Or was it "hero worship." Or I guess they figured they'd just wait it out three years because he was going to die in the end anyway.

This is sort of why I generally avoid the more smartass dialogue with the closer characters, and save it all for the ones that actually do have an aggressive response, like the batarians at the entrace of Omega, the turians planning to rob people in the Afterlife VIP room, etc.. It just isn't as fun when the characters don't push back.

Opting to shoot Samara's daughter after her mother decides to kill herself is about as unnecessarily dickish as it got.
And people have already mentioned Paragon Shepard with Mordin. The way it's done came just came across as self-righteous to me.

While my character mostly acts Paragon, that's the exact way I'm picturing Shepard to be like when he's speaking Renegade - cold, experienced and oddly balanced. Sadly, as previously stated, too many Renegade answers seem to be there just for the sake of being a dick.

I feel this is the right place to mention how much I love the Renegade path during the very first dialogue with Ash aboard the Normandy; especially with my canon Colonist/Ruthless background. Always have to smirk when Ashley carefully adds "...well, that's just to say I'm glad you're on our side."

Yeah. Another funny thing is how Zaeed is basically described the same way. Chambers says something along the lines of "For a man who's seen so much violence, he's oddly well adjusted.."
