Yeah it's been confirmed that it takes place two years after ME1.Zegir wrote...

HAHA - I just got to watch it at 1:30PM HST (that SyFy special is on at 6:00PM HST, but that doesn't really help anyone outside my state). Anyhow, what I found interesting was that they said ME2 takes place mere MONTHS after the events of ME1. Wasn't there previously speculation that it was a two-year gap? Heh, well so much for that!
They are wrong. It is two years.
I believe Jacob even says you have been out for two years.
Maybe the beginning of the story starts a few months after ME! and then it skips two years

No...the story does technically start just a few months after ME1...it just jumps ahead t wo years after the opening.

Oh yes, they did say Joker has a larger role in ME2 - hmm. Oh, it was also interesting that they showed Samara and Tali during that segment about the female LIs - well, Samara was like RIGHT at the beginning of that, but maybe it's a red herring (only SuZe /Jack & Miranda being confirmed obviously). Hmm, they didn't really show the guys unless the quick look at Thane and Jacob counted. For us FemSheps it will still remain a mystery I suppose.
**Edited to add more stuff.![]()
If you have G4 on the TV it will repeat at 2:00 am eastern standard time.
I missed the first one but have set the DVR for later.

Wow they just eluded to the GS exclusive pre-order being something you can obtain ingame.
They start off by talking about how mining could take hours and that you use the system to get more minerals to build new gear then they show a clip of the terminus armor and blackstorm.
It's possible that the GameStop DLC (as well as Inferno/Collectors) provides you with the blueprint for researching the Terminus armor and BlackStorm gun, rather than just placing them into your inventory. I don't put much stock into what is being shown on screen while they were talking, as most of the images were just cut from existing trailer vids.
And for those that couldn't/didn't see it on tv http://g4tv.com/masseffect2

Thats just how he speaks.
You mean "Wrong?" It'd be one thing to pronounce "Cryo" as "Cry-oh" or "Cree-oh." Cyro isn't just the way someone speaks - it's flat-out saying the word wrong. The "R" isn't after the "Y."

Everyone has a certain way they speak and no one speaks exactly the same. I'm sure even you have something you say that sounds a bit off to other people.
Wow... Honestly; I don't even...
(This reminded me of the cool whip fiasco on Family Guy, btw.)
Also; ME2 DOES take place 2 months after ME1. It starts with Shepard getting killed, remember. Then the events of Redemption take place, and then he's revived by Cerberus.
They're not wrong.
Also; Joker could always walk. Shame on them for spoiling trivial ME1 information for you.

No, I've always heard it as "Cry-oh." I justed used "Cree-oh" as an example of something I could see someone using based on accent, dialect, what have you. It would still sound wrong but just like a Canadian might say "About" as "Aboot," it's something I'd chalk up to accent. Cyro, however, isn't an accent. It's just plain wrong.

How anyone could see Jack as ugly is beyond me. Lucid Shepherd will be quite pleased.
I only got to watch it online in low quality clips. Did anyone get to actually read the dialogue choices?

I don't find her attractive at all, back on topic I didn't find the information that amazing although I'm hoping you can trade Tali for Kal'ReegarLucidStrike wrote...
