I think a sequel to ME3 is completely out of the question given the mess that happened and a sequel probably would have never have happened even if ME3 ended in a better but I want to move and forget about ME3, I don't want any future installments of ME to be impaired because of ME3 and just move on to new things. It's getting to my breaking point of even accepting a prequel as much I dislike the idea of a story happening before the current Reaper invasion as it would be completely overshadowed and be considered to be irrelevant, even a spinoff. But I want to get back to the old days of having happy thoughts about of ME, and not sour thoughts.
It has been known for nearly five years that Shepard story would be finished by the third game, and I know people will hold on to Shepard no matter what. I just want to play a good Mass Effect with my own chatacter and a interactive story with deep characters in a AU is my wish. No Shepard, no Reapers and no catalyst that makes the story feel like almost nothing.
Are future games impaired by ME3?

I don't see why there's a problem here. Some RPG series have canonized previous games' choices. Some RPG series have trivialized previous games' choices. I've never played a series that wimped out and went to an AU, but IIRC some JRPGs have done just that too.
Anything Bio wants to do, they can do. (They don't have the resources to incorporate all choices, but I don't think they'd want to go that route even if they could)
