How do I go about registering this game and being able to get stuff like Hayder's razor and the boots and belt?

I don't think you can. I have been trying to register my Xbox Live digital downloads (Mass Effect, DAO, DA Awakenings) with no success. I do recall about a year ago somewhere on the BSN DA2 boards where Bioware gave a bunch of dlc codes away (for DAO & DA2) like the one you are looking for, just to say thanks. I don't know if they are still available, but I'm sure you can find them if you do some investigating. Good Luck.
