I've always been fond of the human engineer but two things have boosted him/her to my "A team" - cryo ammo and the valiant. I like to roleplay the female as Shepard and more like an ME1 infiltrator with snipers/pistols.
I didn't make much use of the scorpion in that match - it's moslty reserved for the cerberus phantom/dragoon rush or geth staggerlock rush!

Small world, I just tried a SalEng with a valiant + scorpion combo with cryo ammo a few hours ago.
It's good enough that i used a respec card to take the 6a "defrost" evo on incinerate instead of the usual 6b anti-armour evo.
Up's his damage output and gives me a use for all those damn cryo ammo I've got lying around.
