Please excuse me if I'm being completely moronic here, but I just bought the PC version of game, and the back of my CD case says "Includes Downloadable Character and Quest!" I'm assuming this means Shale, but I can't seem to find a code anywhere in either the manual or CD box to get said downloadable content. Am I blind, or did I misinterpret what "Includes" meant, and I have to purchase it seperately? Thanks, and, once again, please excuse me if I'm clueless and just can't see what's right in front of me.

Some one will surely provide you the answer to your question but before they do research the many issues people have had with the down loadable content first. You can find many posts inside this forum about this. Then weigh the risks versus rewards. Just be as informed as you can before because you might join the loads of people who have complained about the issues the DLC can cause.

There should be a card in with your game booklet that has a picture of shale on it with a code and on the other side the blood dragon armor with the code for that as well.

Assuming you bought a new, shrinkwrapped copy, there should be a seperate card inside the box with a code for Shale on one side and the code for the Blood Dragon Armor on the other.
Several people have reported not getting the card, so there might be some widespread packaging problem.
If there is no card options are contact EA support at http://help.dragonage.com/ or take it back to the store where you got it and see if they have any answers.

Inside the case, you should find:
1 game disc
1 game manual
1 Warhammer Online advertisement (with promo code)
1 Dragon Age: Origins / Mass Effect 2 Card (with promo codes on both sides)
The codes on the dragon age/mass effect card give you access to Shale and the blood dragon armor.

No need to be hard on yourself. Promo Cards aren't standard fare in PC Game packaging. It's not exactly gonna be habit to look for one.
