Caoz000 - playtime: 144 hours
BoltonWanderer - playtime - 108 hours

I consider them still new at the game, hence your big-ass score.

I'm being serious, I'm not looking for people to tell me "Oh shush, you're a good player". I suck at this game. I sucked at the thunderdome, but at least the floor of glacier Hazard was much cleaner at the end of the game thanks to me being constantly down on the ground. Second game, I had used up 9 medi gels by wave 7 lol, epic fail.

Anyway, I was using acolyte with heavy barrel and lightweight mod, collector smg with magazine upgrade and piercing barrel, warp 4, cyclonic 4, geth scanner. I was very surprised at how well the game went, which is why I wanted to know people's opinions on this character.

So it seems like the general view is that she is in fact overpowered.

The idea is that, if a bad player can do that well with the Fury, then does that mean she is overpowered? What if a good player uses this character? That was the idea.

I won't go so far as saying the poster is stupid, but the argument certainly is.  It shows a fundamental misunderstanding of OP.  A weapon/character/ability is overpowered if it trivializes the game by markedly reducing its difficulty as compared to the average weapon/character/ability.  The fact that some kits are more or less overpowered than others used as comparators has no bearing on its own status if they're all game-breakingly powerful.  

Is the Reegar not OP simply because the pre-nerf Krysae could achieve similar results from across the map?  Is the GI not OP because the AIU can output similar damage while enjoying effectively unlimited medigels?  Is Flamer not OP because Inferno Nades can do the same from a safe distance with no cooldown while stacking when multiples are thrown?

That's an understatement.

Probably akin to the statement that the universe is a big place.

As to the matter at hand, Fury is of course overpowered.  The only way to construct any arguments where she isn't depends on defining correctly powered in terms of some other overpowered character and weapon setup.
