Nah, it's just that some of the players who use N7 Fury are the ones who are OPd. When I use her, she just keeps dying and finishes last. Takes a group effort from the whole team to just get her through the match.

No, I don't claim to suck at this game anymore, it was fun while it lasted and it seems that the torch has passed down to Lakook now 

About the screenshot:

I have no problem with a screenshot being uploaded. With a team of PUGs it is usually very easy for a good player to get a high score of 300k+ points with a lot of classes and weapon combinations. In a Platinum match with 3 PUGs where you do most of the work on your own a time of 31 minutes is actually pretty good considering randoms mess up spawns and derail objectives etc.

Nevertheless I don't see it as epeen just to post a picture of the score, too many people here seem to care about score enough to get upset by it though. In my mind the people who get upset by the screenshot and calling for epeen are the ones who actually care about score in the first place, otherwise a simple "good job" would have been sufficient and no hard feelings would have occured.

About the Fury:

Yes, that class is OP as hell. Thus you will never see me play it. I've done some games in the past where I equiped either a Reegar, Acolyte or a Hurricane on her and it was just plain ridiculous. You could take out a whole spawn by yourself in a few seconds and your barriers just went straight back up. Explosions, stagger, barrier drain, debuff, DoT? It is just a character of mass destruction.

And not only that, I mean of course in the hands of a good player this character is godly, but when even a bad player can use this class and advance a lot in score then you know something is OP.

Back in the days (about a year ago or so) I always played with friends because everyone was playing this game back then. HardcoreSalmon and I always played together and the other 2 friends differed from day to day. Salmon and I always killed everything and our friends usually got about 1/4 or 1/5 of our score at most. But then Salmon showed one of our friends how to play the "walking detonation" Fury on Gold and Platinum, and all of a sudden he immediately went from getting 1/5 or our score to getting 1/2 of our score or even more than that.

Especially in a match with a lot of close quarters he could rack up points like crazy. I remember an U/U/G match who ended up on Glacier and he was actually the top scorer until like wave 7 or something, and he had played all the other classes in the game before and never got closer than 1/4 of Salmon's and mine score.

Needless to say, once he started playing the Fury and realized how easy it was to survive and rack up points with it then he never played another class again. From that day on all you would ever see him play was the Fury.

So yes, when even bad players can take a class and look good with it then you know it is OP. In my opinion those classes are the TGI, Fury and AIU.

You are actually good with the Fury, next time we play together maybe you should try something else to play with just for the diversity

Dumdum, thanks for the post. You have understood my point completely. That's exactly how I felt when I was playing the fury. It was not my intention to brag about score. Like others have said, score isn't everything. I was just trying to illustrate the point which is that absolutely any player out there (literally anyone, whether they're on BSN or not. regardless of their skill or experience level) can put on their Fury, head straight for platinum and if they're fortunate enough to get a good map and enemy combination, they can have an easy game where they will be dealing huge amounts of damage and destroying enemies very fast. That's the impression I get whenever I use the Fury.

Most of the responses in this thread are just people getting all butthurt about their favourite class being called OP.

In my experience, the fury can be pretty overpowered, especially in comparison to other adepts. The only downsides to using the class is on large maps it doesn't work out well, and off-host.

Its also a PUG favorite bc it doesn't need equipment or high level URs... Just put on your crapolyte with level 1 hurrdurrcane and crush everything...

I would say though that the off host issue depends on the host. So depending on the host this class can be amazing even off host.

Not Reegar because it is heavy and increases the cooldown and lowers the DPS. And using Hurricane only on mooks is slower than Acolyte+Biotic Explosion especially against Phantoms. So:

With Hurricane and Acolyte, Yes.

With only Hurricane, No.

That's a pretty big factor, since I'd imagine that a lot of players don't host.

There's nothing better than standing right in front of an enemy, and then having to wait a second for your AF to prime them.

Just tried, it is good but not that good as I was led to believe. It ruins the fun of the Fury for me.  Something just does not feel right.
