But the crucible fits perfectly into the citadel, why does the Citadel even have whats needed there, for the crucible to fit.
For it all to work the Citadel would have to be modified at least in some way for the crucible to fit.
Any kind of reasonable hand-waving can account for this. We already know that the Citadel is just a big dormant mass relay you can live in, and the relay is presumably at the inaccessible core of the station. It's possible that when the dormant relay was discovered by another cycle, the device was redesigned to exploit the relay's connection to the rest of the network and make it a slave.

As for Demeter, it's as good a destination as any to pick for a rendezvous. Where should they have been going? And since it's within standard FTL range of Earth, of course they'll find out what happened. Eventually.
In my ending, the Normandy seemed to outrun it, but I guess got jostled badly by the wave, presumably after it exited the relay. I never really thought about Demeter. That actually seems pretty sensible. I like it.

Them getting sucked back out of the hole the Crucible blast created, pulling them out of the jump.
They get passed by the Crucible wave, sure. Why would that take them out of the jump?
Because it was destroying the Relays and the jumps? Same as the vanilla end.

This is more like a plug and an outlet than a house and extention, especially considering the crucible's essentially a battery.DinoSteve wrote...
So you put an extension on a house, you don't have to modify the house at all for the extension?
Remember me1, when sovereign landed on the citadel, that tower he latched on to? That's where the crucible docks. The designers of the crucible just used what was available.

Who ever said the wave destroys the relay corridor? Sure, the generator blows up after releasing the wave, so the corridor won't last long. But that doesn't mean that the wave itself does anything to the corridor.

Sure. It could be that the scene happens at the moment Normandy exits the relay, in which case there never was any issue regardless of how the physics works. The camera angle wouldn't show us the destination system anyway.

The blast from the Crucible was chasing the Normandy, caught it and yanked it out of the jump.
Then we got the whole nonsensical garden of eden crap. Why they didn't get rid of that I hace no idea.

What was the 'wave'? It can't be light because the Normandy was traveling at FTL speeds so the wave would never be able to catch up.

Well, to be fair, it's cancelled out by the Normandy's departure.
