If he was doing something wrong, but yet "everyone" does it, that makes it okay?

cute

All this is just hearsay, of course. If you're really interested, find the relevant threads and make up your own mind.

I'm too lazy to search and was hoping some links would be provided in this discussion :P

Well, luckily I just found the most important one: http://social.biowar...ndex/16315982/1

 AQQ was right about something!

Why AQQ, why not just AQ. What is the significance of the extra Q?

"QQ" is slang for crying, since the tick marks in a capital Q apparently reminded someone of teary eyes.

Actually QQ is short hand for rage-quitting. But then again, people make up their own internet language.

I thought shorthand for rage-quit was RQ? Either way, "QQ = crying face" is what I was told a few years ago.

Edit: Ah, I see. I didn't play WarCraft, so I wouldn't know.

QQ was the keyboard shortcut for Quit to Desktop for some Warcraft game. People started using it as a verb when people complained, then like all internet nonsense it spread to other outlets.

I think he did a platnium run with a Fury on Glacier Hazard, where all the ravagers were just blind.

Cheating against the game to make yourself look good is a bit underhanded. N7 Link even posted his cheating on YouTube and tried to pass it off as the real deal. Personally I could give a fu+ck but some players who posted legit solos where offended. You can see why. He might as well have posted a missile glitching Platinum solo.

It's not only the 66666 builds. The guy had instakill enemies fixed where there was no chance of him getting killed that way, also had the updating of the AI to retarded speed where it's almost impossible to be shot, had damage increased on some attacks as well.

Carry on defending him though.

That might be generalizing a little too much.  Most people no longer care if a 6/6/6/6/6 build is used but not everybody does it.  Or hack the Game to give whatever advantage is chosen.

I'm not making any judgements on those that do, I only care about what effects my gameplay.  I don't give a crap about score, generally the first I know how it stands is at the end of the game.

I've seen the Lord Claymore do stuff I believed wasn't possible, but it all pales compared to the space magic in Link's videos - and he wasn't even using the Holy Grail Gun!

The Lord marked him a Heretic and His Judgement is never faulty.

Amen BOOM

I may have to make a glitched Gold solo just to give the board something to **** about. We haven't had a good public execution in a while on here.

Now, I don't want to defend him, but the only thing there was solid proof of was the 3rd you mentioned. The 1st one cannot, by its own nature, be proven, and the 2nd can only be "proven" up to a bit.

That said, the 3rd alone is more than enough to justify him being criticized that much on bsn.

Really.

While we're at it, why don't we bring up the accusations against Jay Hoxtatron?

*ducks, runs and hides*

I'm not srs btw, and neither is this thread.

Fair enough. Let's just say that the behaviour of instakill enemies was very odd in some of his videos. And I mean there is a close call or two in a lot of legit solos but you only get away with that crap for so long before you get shanked.

Thing is most everyone really liked Jay. He was a nice guy. Kind of pains me to see that.
