I can (relatively) easily gather Fire, Power & Spirit essences by hunting down undead creatures in the Dead God's Vault. But where are the good places for gaining other type of Essences? Especially, Earth?

Now I am playing MotB again and in the latter part of Act II. I have traveled everywhere sans the Academy. And found that I have only few Earth Essences. IIRC creatures in Ashenwood drop Earth Essences but they drop only Volatile ones and thus gaining Pristine Earth seem to be rather difficult.

Go back to the Vault. Gather lots of Fire and Power and convert them.

Ah thanks. I was totally forgetting about convert essence.

If you want to have Pristine Essences, you can also gather enough Volatile ones, convert them into Brilliant ones, which you can again convert into Pristine ones. If you're thorough in picking them up, you should have more than enough essences at your disposal.

I am using "combine". But I need 64 Volatile essences for creating a Pristine one and I needed more.
