I been working with another person on builds for a mage for myself and I think we finally getting everything fine tuned. My question is this, 1st off i have read on many other sites about Blood Mage, as an example my build be like 1-10 of spells and AW i want then leave level 11-14 blank( don't level up) then at lvl 14 get Bood Mage spec and now go back and level up 11-14 with all your blood mage spells. How is this possible to leave level 11-14 empty and at lvl 14 spec BM then go backwards to level 11,12,13,14 to add all my BM spells ? I'm confused.

now i do see how it would work say i took BM at lvl 7  BUT do not take any of the BM spells since your to low level for them to be any good use at that level lol and then at lvl 11,12,13,add all my BM spells and at lvl 14 take AW. In my build i have AW spec at lvl 7 then BM spec at lvl 14, just need to know if leaving lvls 11-14 empty, how hell I'm able to grab BM at 14 then all my BM spells added at lvl 11-14 ?

please i need to know the secret answer to my question lol

thanks :)

You don't need to travel back and forth through time and space, just select an ability for every unspent point you have at that particular level. Or may be I didn't get your question?!

This is because you havnt even start game yet.
For each lv, you get an attribute point (1) that you can chose to allocate into a spell or not.
If not, and you make yet another level, you will now have (2) available attribute points
that you may use to spend on a spell skill or two.
If you level up yet again, and havnt use any of the available attribute points, you now have (3)
points ready to allocate into 3 spells, that may be of the same line

Aye sometimes I have hard time explaining, let me try examples:
Let's say you want blizzard, well we know we have to take winters grasp then frost weapons then cold of cone then blizzard.

So let's put this in a build

Lvl 8 Winters grasp

Lvl 9 Frost weapons

Lvl 10 Cone of Cold

Now at lvl 11 I can get Blizzard BUT wait I want to leave lvls 11-14 open(not lvl up so you have to take spells) so when I hit lvl 14 I can spec Blood Mage

Once BM is spec, I can take all my BM spells up to blood wound, now will the game let me place Blood magic, blood sacrifice and blood wound at lvl 11, 12, and 13 since when i first hit lvl 11 i left that lvl empty, same for lvl 12 and 13 by not choosing to lvl up because I did not wanted to lvl up and be forced to add spells that is not a BM spells at lvl 11-13 then at lvl 14 spec BM then have to wait for lvl 15,16,17 to get my BM spells.

So as my question is, why do i see plp saying leave lvl 11-13 empty, do not lvl up till you spec BM at lvl 14 then go back and add all your BM spells you want at lvl 11-13 that you left empty with no spells by not leveling up during this lvls of 11-13, so once you hit lvl 14 BAMM now you can get all your BM spells you want by going back and putting them in at lvls 11-13.

How is this possible ?

ok since I'm on xbox 360 i can't choose to lvl up only my stats and not take a spell, so only way is not to lvl up so leave 11-13 alone till I hit lvl 14 spec  BM then fill in lvl 11-13 my BM spells, is this way I'm reading this from you?

The warden's level will increase no matter what. The only choice one has is whether to invest the points gained for levelling up or not.
I've zero knowledge about anything xbox; from what you've said, I guess in your case, you'll not be able to spend any attribute, skill, or ability point till you hit lvl14. But you WILL reach level 14 regardless, so what's the problem?

It's cool, there no problem, I'll won't lvl up at lvls 11-13 and at lvl 14 I'll learn BM then lvl up my lvls from lvl 11-14 and add all my BM spells then so I have all my BM spells to use right away than adding a BM spell at lvl 15,16,17.

I'll figure it all out when i reach lvl 11 and not choose lvl up till I'm lvl 14 to learn BM

Tyvm all for the help:)

wow, this was news for me too, and i'm unable to see why allocation system was made different between platforms.
I really would make a SAVE once i leveled up, then experiment if this really is the case, and if so,
load back and accept the loss
