I wonder how Brennan would feel about the Rebel Alliance. They're clearly committing treason and breaking the law against the lawful democratic system. The Empire may be a monarchy, but the Senate still exists.

Actually, the Senate stops existing in A New Hope. And had pretty much lost any power it had, turning into a rubber-stamp body at best, by Revenge of the Sith.

It's still a legal entity that is acknowledged of holding power under the Declaration of the New Order. And once it is dismantled, the Emperor is still the legal governing entity of the galaxy, as legally ratified by the New Order.

She still doesn't require a long term commitment. Just a slam and bang after dinner.

I'll stop this argument here because I don't actually have any problem with breaking unjust laws whatsoever. It's just that Cerberus repeatedly breaks the just ones too, and generally worse.

Who says the laws are unjust? What makes the laws that Cerberus breaks just?

Who says the laws are unjust? What makes the laws that Cerberus breaks just?

Kidnapping, torture, murder. You know, things generally frowned upon.

But they're legal and correct in the Galactic Empire. That makes them legally right. And morally and ethically just and acceptable.

That's not a strawman. That's a difference in culture. Cultural relativism.

And it doesn't matter what the action or method is. It matters what the circumstance and purpose of the action performed is.

Believe me, I'm not entirely comfortable with this; it's one of only a few plans that might work in this moment. I plan to release them once I know which ones are mentally stable enough to be released, however.
