Getting back on point (hopefully, but doubtful). I got my first kiss from Liara while visiting the Citadel. I forget who initiated it, but it was more meaningful then the "wild thing" that Miranda and I had.

The only thing I didn't like was that Miranda's reason for not joining the Normandy in ME3 felt a bit thin and weak. I personally think she could've easily went along and asked Liara to use some of her Shadow Broker connections to look into finding Oriana for her which would be a lot thorough and easier to do.

I have to admit, despite having no stake in it, this thread was a very entertaining read.
I must warn you though- tred much further and this thread will inevitably go to the pits of 'do Asari enjoy vaginal sex?' depravity.

Who knows? It might prove to be crucial information for the original poster's dilemma.

In the end I always did choose Liara. Maybe because of some idiotic canon idea I planted in my head once, but I always felt that connection wise, Shepard's feelings for Liara are somewhat stronger than his feelings for Miranda. This is mostly based on the fact that she was not only my Shep's first LI, but they also melded their minds on several occasions to find out more about the Protheans and how they vanished.
Miranda on the other hand was an absolute no-brainer LI in ME2 for me, she has pretty much everything that Shepard could wish for, but for one reason or another I always switched back to Liara.

Miranda ends up dying of course, but I thought it gave the Kai Leng Omni-blade skewering more emotional impact.

My canon was no-one in ME1, then Tali in ME2 and 3, although in my initial playthrough I did romance Liara first, since I had no actual interest in Tali until halfway through ME2. And even then I was unsure whether it be Miranda or her.
My canon was no-one in ME1, then no-one in ME2, and Shepard was pretty much a confimed bachelor until 3 when I was accused of flirting in the hospital...

I disagree. I had saves with Miranda, Liara and Jack as LI and Miranda was the most satisfying to me in the Citadel DLC. I just found her chemistry with shepard to be more mutual whereas I think Shepard seems more protecting of Liara when they have romance scenes... at least IMO.cap and gown wrote...
I warned you not to cheat.
Look, I like Miri. A lot. But based on her reduced content in ME3 I would say Liara is the better choice. Even with the addition of the Citadel content Miri's content is disappointingly thin. In fact, I think Miri's Citadel interactions with Femshep are better than with a romanced mshep.
Also, I am surprised Liara hasn't already talked to you about continuing the relationship. I usually get that dialogue before I even have the chance to meet with Miri.
Anyway, nothing is settled until you get to the lock in point which is still a ways down the road. Just be aware that in ME3 you can only lock in with one partner. Bigamy (and serial monogamy) is off the table.

Well, for the Citadel portion, Liara's content was rather poor, IMO. Miranda's was better. But Jack's was the best, and I hate Jack. The tatoo scene was very nice. But outside of Citadel, Liara has more romance related content than either Miranda or Jack. For a seemless romance transition from ME2 to ME3, and mission dialogue that references the romance, however, Tali is the best.

I thought Liara's Citadel content was quite good, there is just less romance-specific content compared to Jack or Miranda. And really that is how it should be, since Miranda and Jack had much less content in the main game.
I didn't know that. So the scene with her at the piano is the same for romances?
