I'd be curious to see a pregnant woman enter the Fade physically and have a baby there. That's probably the most extreme circumstance I can think of being born in within the world of Thedas.

Depends what I was born as, as a mage I would want to be born in Tevinter, as a non mage anywhere but Tevinter. If I was an elf I would want to either be Dalish or be in Par Vollen among the Qunari where they value what a person can do instead of what shape their ears are.  As a dwarf I would probably want to be a surface dwarf as a merchant or a smith in a large human city.

Ideally, probably a to noble house with no interest in a violent power struggle in a stable country. Although that didn't seem to help the Couslands. With the Dalish might be too bad either. In certain areas of Rivain might be ok too, but we don't know much about there yet. It could be under threat from pirates and Qunari.
