Hey guys.

So about a few months back I decided to try Dragon Age once my desire to play Mass Effect finally waned. Needless to say, I was hooked. Beat the game 5 times now, loved it each time.

I ordered Dragon Age 2 a few days. From what I've seen/heard about it, I already have a lot of hate for it. I'm just really disappointed with what I've seen, but I'll still give the game a few playthroughs as I'm sure it's at least half as fun and invigorating as Origins.

Anyway; my concern here is importing my Witch Hunt DLC save to Dragon Age 2 when the game arrives. I am a big fan of Morrigan's romance, and my main Warden (my first and most personal one) is very involved with her. I play on PS3 and Witch Hunt doesn't create an autosave after I finish my final desicion with Morrigan (I enter the Eluvian with her).

The last autosave the game makes is right before I talk to her. I fear that importing my save to Dragon Age 2 will not recognize my desicion to leave with Morrigan. I understand it has no effect on Dragon Age 2, but it most definitely will in Inquisition...and I just refuse to accept an oversight of this magnitude.

Please, if anyone here plays on PS3 and can confirm, is my desicion to leave with Morrigan ever acknowledged? I have a feeling when the game arrives and I import, I'll be disappointed to know that it doesn't recognize my desicion.

Thanks guys, cheers and happy hunting! Mages all day! Posted Image

It isn't acknowledged on any platform in DA2. None of the plot flags from WH are used in DA2.

As to DAI, they are doing the Keep to help with import (including cross-platform).

Yeah I know that. But I might not be switching platforms for a while, as they're releasing DA:I for current gen platforms as well.

Do you or anyone else know the actual answer? I know it's never recognized in DA:2 but it will be in Inquisition, which I will import my DA:2 file to.

As far as I know, it has never been confirmed, but as Morrigan has been confirmed to make an appearance, I'm guessing that your decision will at least be mentioned.

As for hating DA2 before playing it, don't. Yes, it has its problems, and quite a few of them, but I still very much enjoyed playing it for the most part.

I most definitely do not hate it, I'm not an ignorant gamer in the slightest and apologize if I came off that way. I've watched many gameplays of it and what I dislike is the art direction and combat changes from Origins. Very disappointing, but it still looks like a good time. I'll make the most of it.

I know she's going to make an apperance, and in game informer mag it said she'd play a pretty significant role. But if the PS3 version doesn't recognize my desicion to travel through the eluvian with her, I know I'll get a different outcome from what I deserve -.-

I'm with you on the art thing. I would have preferred a higher quality version of DAOs art style over DA2s. And the hands in DA2 are horrifying. As for the combat, I felt Origins combat was too slow, but they definitely went overboard speeding things up for DA2.

And agreed, I really hope that that decision is recognized. Though I doubt it will be more than a casual mention in some random conversation.
