I'll purchase a next-gen console as soon as all launch issues that usually arise are worked out. That, and the obvious Slim model being released.

I'm getting a PS4 btw, if it wasn't obvious already.

Me too, TLOU, Beyond, Journey, God of War series, Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead Redemptions, Bioshocks.  I'm so glad consoles are a blight to gaming.  

I can live without them. Always tempted to buy a console for RDR...not worth it. Too many good games on PC.

I'll buy a console next year. I already got a gaming rig that surpasses the next gen anyway. Plus I still got a xbox 360 and ps3.

It's very easy to forget that the Wii U is supposed to be a next gen system as well.

Most likely due to the CPU being on par with the last-gen consoles (the PS3 and 360).

PS4 is the only one of the pair I'd consider getting. I had no interest in Xboxes well before Xbone.

But not rushing out to get the PS4 yet either. That won't happen until it gets a release I simply can't live without.

The first X1 game reviews are out and they are pretty good. Mostly 7s and 8s. More to come in the days leading up to launch. The exclusive lineup puts the X1 ahead of the ps4, imo, but both need more time and games before I pick one of them up.

Neither. PC forever. I don't see the point of buying an outdated computer that can only play games and serves just as a connector to Sony and Microsoft's licensing pipelines.

We'll be getting two X1s and a PS4 (I get one of each, and the hubs gets an X1).

Exact same setup that we have with this generation, actually (two 360s, one PS3).

Need you ask who gets the better tv?

Lol at Sterling -- It's smaller than I imagined but that's probably the console I'll go for whenever KH3 and a future Persona game is gonna be released on it and the next inFamous. Not planning on getting it yet though.

So far, Xbox One games seem really ****. Reviews aren't the best, highest so far is for Dead Rising 3 and Forza 5 with a 7/10 rating. Just above average.

I'm not gong to bother with Ryse, I saw that a mile away.

Same thing on the side of PS4. The games out are not getting great reviews.

Across the board its what we suspected- this early, the games are meh. Good stuff comes later.

For now, its those cross platform games we should be enjoying.
