For weeks I'd been trying to figure out which to get as I had been saving up money and traded in old games and accessories at my local GameStop. As I've only been using the x360, I just realized there is a ton of amazing ps3 games I've never played so will go this route. When I want to go 'next gen' there will be more games to base a decision on.

500GB would be fine with mandatory game installs if we were talking current gen, but with next gen having games require upwards of 40 to 60GB of space, its kinda crazy.

While I don't own a PS4, my stepbrothers each own one and I've gotten a taste of it(have played a little of Killzone and Contrast).

Too early to judge, but I see the potential for awesomesauciness. I think a few things could be better though.

Will mention the X1 when I get one.

I did the same thing about half a year ago.

The amount of quality games you can get for under $10 on amazon is incredible.

Also; I don't know how much subterfuge is being used by Sony, but anyone else notice how little gameplay footage is being shown in the Xbone "Launch Countdown" videos??

It's almost as if they're attempting to distract the public from... something. I mean, who cares about what some guy in L.A. thinks of Deadmouse? WHo cares how excited the VP of Micro$oft is?!?

The whole thing can kind of be summed up by the "new" controller... two new buttons? I think not. They merely gave START & SELECT  new names and a new feature or two.

Its not a brick, I'm shocked.

Well, the voice commands(what I've used so far) have been snappy and perfect.

The headset? Cheap. Feels cheaper than the 360's. I don't like that it feels like it'll break if I try to do so. Ick.

Controller's comfortable, as it was with the 360. Bigger than the PS4's which means it fits my long fingered grip.

Menus are snappy and clean. I love that it'll recognize me so easy thru Kinect.

I don't know if its possible to send voice messages to other players yet, or maybe you can't send them to those on 360, not sure. Will check later when more people have the console.

So far? Pleasant experience, but thats not saying much since I've just like with the PS4, barely tinkered with it.

Will play AC4 and see how that goes.

In my opinion, Boogie2998's opinion/final verdict sums it up for me. PS4 is targeting Gamers while the Xbox One is an entertainment system that also plays games.
I'm leaning for the Xbox One, because I have a lot of good friends on there I game with, and 90% of them are getting the Xbox One.
Final choice: Xbox One. After a new gaming PC and getting my Nikon camera, I'll save for the PS4.
