I don't think that was the point of it.

I think it was that when talking about LIs that they put a video of Tali there. It's not like everytime they talk about something there has to be 100% new footage for us.

The footage isn't the evidence, it's where the footage is located in the video. I don't see why a non-romancable character would be displayed in the Alien Romance part of the video.

Its not the footage, rather the time they showed it. They played it specifically at the part they began to talk about LI's

While most of you are aware of my affiliation, this proves nothing. As a Tali fan I would like this expunged from the evidence record. Because really...it doesn't prove a thing. It showed Samara and Morinth too.



Basically, it just showed any woman with Shepard they could. They used Samara because she has cleavage.



So, no. This isn't evidence. There's been plenty, but this isn't evidence.

Pretty much this.

I'd take the statement about non-romanceable ME1 squaddies being romanceable in ME2 as more solid evidence.

Also; my point about the footage being old, was that everyone jumped to the same conclusion (Tali romanceable) when it was original released, and was hoping that you'd all remember the last time when the general concensus ending up being that we should wait for the game or actual dev confirmation. 

This video was neither of those things.

I agree. Even if it doesn't go the way I want it to, I'd rather know before I started. They should have told us weeks - even months ago. I would have still bought the game. I would have still loved the game. In fact, the extra time would have allowed me shift my focus to Miranda or something. But now, I'm so convinced that Tali is romanceable that to find out she isn't would be bad.

Still, it's better to find out now rather than later. Even a week of getting over it is better than finding out on lauch day.

Again, the actual footage isn't the evidence. Also, when I posted the video, I wasn't taking that as the sole evidence of a Talimance. I was coupling that with all the other clues and evidence in my mind and then created this thread to bring the video to everyone's attention.

I dunno, seems like jumping the gun. Shepard could try and be shot down with the obvious "You know I cant because I am immunocompromised" (meaning her immune system is not able to handle the open world). There is a reason she is ALWAYS in a full containment suit...

Legion is a squadmate. check the achievements for ME2. the achievements that refer to "Geth Technology" is proof.

You don't heavily and repeatedly feature women in a romance-portion of the documentary who aren't going to be romances. But...there will always be people who hold back when hints like these are dropped. They did it about the Tali/Garrus squad-status and their LI status is no different.



I have a very good feeling about what this vid is telling us, although I do understand people's reluctance to see it as well.

A Talimance is more than just getting her suit off!
