Is there anyway to set them off? I mean when you spot them, on the floor and stuff. Is there anyway to set them off without HAVING to run over them? Its annoying that I HAVE to run over traps when I dont have a rouge in my party...

Depending on the trap, someone with evasion can usually set them off without consequence (you don't have to be a rogue to have evasion).

Also, some have suggested summoning creatures to run over them for you.

I have evasion. But being a sorcerer build my reflex save isnt high enough on lower levels to take that risk usually..
I have noticed that sometimes you can run along the side of the trap and that way not set it off... But that usually isnt the case...

There isn't much left to add. If you find a trap, you either:
1) Avoid it. As you said, this isn't always possible.
2) Disable it. You don't need a pure rogue for this, mind you.
3) Run over it, or as Tchos said, make someone else do it. If you have Evasion but you reflex save is low, buff it. You can also just make yourself immune to its effects. Otherwise, deal with it.
That's all.

The only use I've ever found for familiars is to use them to set off traps.

Yes one thing I usually do is cast energy immunity on myself if its an elemental trap( at higher levels).
In addition to having protection from elements..
The annoying ones are the spike traps. Which you cant make yourself immune to.. And especially on higher levels in motb and stuff.. You can get one shot if you dont make a reflex save..
So I guess the traps that I was hoping someone had a workaround for were the spike traps, and other traps you cant make yourself immune to..

Are you playing the main campaign? If so, then where's Neeshka? You didn't except her into your party? Or is this a mod from the vault? If so then that a sign of poor design. Players should always have a way around a trap if their willing to put a little thought into it. But that does not mean it has to be easy. LOL

The OC gives you like half a dozen wands of lesser summoning. There's probably enough badgers there to literally disarm every ground trap in the game. Doors and chests can be bashed from a distance to avoid their traps, though you may break some consumables and stuff when you do that (I can't remember exactly what kinds of items are breakable, but you can't destroy anything really valuable like weapons and armor). You might also want to give someone on the front line one of those helmets that boost search.
