I never really felt betrayed or lied-to by Morrigan. She has her own reasons for doing things and she doesn't feel compelled to share those reasons. Ocasionally, whenever her b*tchiness got on my nerves I would simply ask her to leave and if any new or returning characters get on my nerves in Inquisition I will ask them to leave as well. This desire to want to kill off characters simply because they annoy you seems a bit childish.

Well, she's a decently popular guess as the game's big bad,

according to zero evidence

Oh yes, that damn girl annoyed the Hell out of me. And her fanboys and fangirls as well. I doubt we'll have a chance to kill her (she's a LI unfortunately) Still, no Inquisitor of mine will ignore a chance of harrassing her XD

I didn't say there was evidence, or that I agreed.  I said a lot of people are making the guess.

Am I the only one who thinks punishing liars via knives to the gut may be a tad disproprotionate?

Why only knives? Fire, axes, swords. Hanging, finally

She wanted to use my Warden or Alistair
for her needs. I don't like people use me and leave. Morrigan is lying
and selfish woman.

If you accept her dark ritual idea then you are actually using her for your own benefits. If you convince Alistair to sleep with her then you're no better, especially when Alistair does NOT like her. She could've kept her mouth shut, and allowed either one of you to die, but she didn't.

she want ritual always not only if the warden is her lover or friend and she is glad to leave you if you refuse after you helped her with flemeth so then she betrays you so i don't take her "i care about you" she is self-intrested.

Betraying means that Morrigan intentionally exposes you to potential dangers. The ritual was far from betraying you. It was to save yourself from being killed after slaying the Archdemon. If Morrigan went off and gave information to Loghain about you that will overall harm your situation that is a legit betrayal by definition. Being a **** is completely different.

Betrayal in an emotional concept is possible... however you could've seen it from the begining that Morrigan was not suitable for having a stable relationship, especially when she was not exposed to other humans due to her status of an apostate. You can't always get your way. You can't always get your woman at the end of the game as a hero.

''She could've kept her mouth shut, and allowed either one of you to die, but she didn't. ' Becaouse she wants Old God baby. She doesn't care about Warden. She wants power. I remember First blight and Tevinter magisters so this is very bad idea to give her this power- she is egosentric woman. And I am tired of her so much -Morrigan this, Morrigan that, Morrigan in DAI no matter she supposed to be dead. Phah!

There is some speculation that Morrigan may turn out to be the big bad of DA:I, considering she plays a large role in the story (yet isn't a companion) and the 'villain' of the game is supposed to have some redeeming qualities, rather than being a one dimensional black hat.

If that turns out to be true no doubt Morrigan would be killable. My Inquisitor would kill her in that case, even though she had been my Warden's LI and gave birth to his son.

Why is it that in most threads about killing Morrigan, the proponents always seem to have awful grammar and a loose grip on sanity?

This may be a difficult concept for you to understand, but people survive being stabbed fairly often.. You stab her, she falls into the Eluvian. i see no evidence of her dying.

Though cookie, she's a part of the story and that's that. Also, she's not supposed to be dead. You never killed her.

My guess is English isn't there first language, if so they are actually doing fairly well.

That or or they are on the net while working and don't have time to spell check or make sure the sentences flow well.

As for Morrigan; while she and Flemeth did plan the Dark Ritual from the beginning depending on how you play she can come to care for you.

She's only a motherkiller if you kill her mother for her.

Hmm.. So Morrigan offers you a ritual to save your life, yes obvioiusly she should be hunted down like a dog and killed most heinously for her offer. that is what I do when anyone offers to save me, makes me lots and lots of friends. You did  have the option to just say NO.

Not to mention we have no idea what the ritual does. For all we know, it might be a good thing. We don't know that.

If people want to kill her because they believe she and/or the old god child pose a threat to the world... well, first and foremost they shouldn't have done the ritual to begin with, but if they think even without the ritual she's a threat that needs to be eliminated, I can accept that. I don't agree with it, but I can accept that logic. After all, my Warden killed Flemeth without any hard evidence that she needed to die, so I can't exactly be judgmental on this one.

I just don't see the need to justify it by labeling her actions a betrayal, which they objectively were not, or a lie, which they arguably were not.

Considering what has been considered as good plot points by BW in recent games, I´m already half expecting that...

Flemeth did heavily imply in one of the dialog option she knew Morrigan had learnt she was the next host.

And if you didn´t kill Flemeth, and there are 2 now?
